Good info Djs. Racehorse, I'm gonna go see that baby in action in a review. I am quickly learning that my eGo batteries are going to go the way of the dodo bird.
Sorry, but that really is only half the story. A battery is only a battery if it's a pen eGo battery with no variable power. YES.
Bring variable power into the equation and suddenly the world opens up. So, that counteracts the argument.
A non variable voltage battery with ANY 2.5ohm or 2.8ohm clearo is going to be very cool vape.
A variable voltage ego battery with a dual coil clearo is going to be underpowered.
But either of these, paired with a single coil clearo at 1.8ohm or 2.2ohm is a perfectly good vape, one that most of us quit smoking on, and that many members still use today.
The dual coil clearo tanks that have come out in the last year weren't reallly made to use with ego batts, even VV ego batts. Protank 3, Nautilus, etc. need more voltage. They will also run down an ego battery pretty quickly.
I think I am going to go with a 20w box mod for now, and order it Friday when I get paid. When I get paid in 2 weeks again, I am going to get the Nautilus mini. Is that putting the cart before the horse? I guess I am thinking I could try my ego tanks with the box mod, until I can get a Nauti mini. Or I can get the Nauti mini now and try using it with my Ego batteries. Or, the third option, get either and just wait until I get the other piece. If I do get the mod first, will I burn up my eGo clearomizers with it? I know it's noob question, but what is a safe range on the mod to run the clearomizers at without having a China Syndrome-like meltdown/disaster?

Does the Nauti mini have the adjustable airflow like its big brother? Any loss of features getting the mini?

You dont need a Nautilus mini for your ego the full size will work the same. Your gonna want a beauty ring with both anyways.
Racehorse... on fire tonight.
I am completely in agreement on these last few posts. The set-up of eGo VV (old and tired ones) with mini Nautilus still sends me to a place of much unhappiness.
