Hi.. ive got my mind set on stopping smoking and vaping full time.

ive had a few goes on friends vaporizers but only the cheap things with not much vapor.

I would like some advice on which set up/set ups to go for.

The set up I will be using most will be for mouth to lung hits with decent vapor production.

I will also want another set up for MASSIVE cloud lung hits.

for my mouth to lung hits I really dont no what set up to go for????? any advice is appreciated.

for my MASSIVE lung hits im thinking aspire CF sun with aspire atlantis! is it possible to use the aspire CF sun with a different tank for mouth to lung hits? or will I be better off with the 2 different set ups?

Thanks in advance

Do you mean the Aspire CF Subohm battery? That basically works like a mech mod but with protection. So it will always output whatever the battery voltage is from a high of 4.2 volts down to 3.5 volts (once it drops below 3.5 volts you will get a low battery warning). If you use a different tank, it will power it at whatever wattage the 4.2-3.5 volts translates to based on the resistance of the coil you are using.

For mouth to lung hits, the Aspire Nautilus is a good tank.

For a massive lung hit, you may want to look at the Aspire Atlantis v2 rather than the original Aspire Atlantis. The v2 is much airier than the v1 and you can also use a 0.3 ohm coil with that.

First of all, the first rule in vaping is: Backups for your backups! :rules: You can't vape if you don't have either a working charged battery, working juice delivery device, or e-liquid. So having two separate setups is the rule of thumb for someone dedicated to stay off cigarettes. People can forget to recharge their batteries. Tanks can stop working or break at the most inopportune time. Don't be caught off guard, keep a backup for everything you use. Don't put yourself in a situation to have to buy a pack of cigarettes to satisfy that nicotine craving.

There are many ways you could go with the two separate setups. Cigalikes (not recommended) are cigarette-sized batteries which many people start out vaping with, but their restricted battery time and limited juice delivery device options soon wear thin for most people. Some people still use these for portable out-and-about use and use an intermediate or advanced device for home use to vape.

An eGo battery setup is the traditional recommended starter/intermediate setup. It adds more battery time and more options for the juice delivery device than the cigalikes. About the size of a long cigar.

Guide to Juice Delivery Devices

Some beginners skip the starter and intermediate setups altogether and go with an advanced personal vaporizer or mod. These will be more powerful, use batteries with much longer use between charges, and have the most options for juice delivery devices. These devices will also be larger than the first two categories.

Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Ego's & Mods

For a new vaper, most experienced vapers will strongly recommend a "regulated" mod over a "mechanical" mod for safety reasons. A mechanical mod is basically just a battery holder, a switch, and 510 connector for the juice device -- and NO protection circuitry.

A regulated mod will have a circuit board with protection circuitry to keep you safe from unknowingly venting a battery or exploding a mod. It will also regulate the voltage output so your vape remains the same throughout the battery's use. A mechanical mod will be at the mercy of the charge on the battery - it will be strongest with a freshly charged battery and gradually weaken as the battery is discharged. A mechanical mod also requires more knowledge about battery types and choosing the right battery for your specific application.

Kanger box 40, istick 30w, sig 30w, aspire ESP 30w are all good to consider. Nice battery life and reviews on all. Personal preference there on looks. I have the istick 30 and the ESP 30. I like them both. Wider tanks, like the Atlantis and the SubTank mini look like they are about to jump off the cliff on the istick, because of the location if the 510 connection. Smaller tanks, like the Nautilus Mini look perfect. The ESP, even with its floating 510 doesn't allow my SubTank to seat all the way down. There's a wee gap between the tank and the mod, so of I'm going to banging around for the day or night, I usually take the istick and return to the ESP when the larger footprint is welcome for its tendency to not fall over on the desk.
I also switch up my vaping between mouth to lung and lung hits throughout the day. I found the SubTank Mini and Nautilus Mini soon after I started and they are what I use every day.
The Naut mini is nearly maintenance free and it doesn't leak. Taste really nice.
The SubTank mini is also not a leaker and pretty simple to use. You can choose between stock coils or get into building coils. Although you may still want a bigger Floyd machine in your arsenal, the SubTank is versatile and might scratch that itch some of the time. It responds well to adjustments in power and airflow. So, you can open it up and get some nice clouds and then dial back and tighten the airflow for more flavor and visibility all with same coil. It's versatility makes it a great primary tank or backup to your other gear. Good luck in the transition.
