Am I the only one who uses attys and carts?

They should also work with 901's, BTW.

For me, I am split between both. I LOVE my 901 atties, but the carts have been proving fiddlesome and using VG juice has led me to some wicking problems. I have been looking at the lucid tank carts, but to be honest, I just don't like the look of them. I may, however, give smart carts a chance. :p

When outside the house, cartos for sure, tho. Can't always top off and mess with the cart when you're out.

Whatever they are, they are ugly. Why not show some that have been used a couple times and have marks and deformities caused by holding the cart/tank between your teeth?

To each his or her own.

What floats YOUR boat, sinks mine and vice versa.

Each person needs to find what works - for them - to have a happy and successful vaping experience. :)

Thus far, I've found that a SR Joye 510 atty* and a clear cartridge (like these) is far and away my favorite delivery system. The only real "fiddling" I have to do is replacing the tiny bit of wicking material with blue foam (which is incredibly easy and low maintenance). Once I do that, I can reuse the cart almost indefinitely and it's INCREDIBLY easy to refill and switch juices (one of my pet peeves with cartos). The atty doesn't run dry until the cart is empty. It's really about as low-maintenance and inexpensive as it gets. It doesn't matter if I'm using watery 100% PG juice or 100% VG like Boba's, it just works perfectly every time.

I've tried Boge LR cartos, Ikenvape SR and LR cartos, and a few others and I still find that I keep going back to to the atty/cart combo. Flavor and vapor production is just as good, if not better IME. The only carto that I think I will buy more of is Ikenvape's Single-Coil 1.6Ohm clear carto. I'm pretty impressed with the performance of those on my e-power, but I don't like the inability to switch flavors. Life-span on these is still to be detemined.

I don't ever hear anyone talking about this particular setup, which got me to wondering if I'm the only one. Anyone else out there using this?

    * I've tried some off brand attys and they've been hit or miss. The Joye attys are perfect, though. I still have all of the 10 I purchased over a month ago for about $4.5 a pop and don't expect to have to buy more anytime soon.

    Absolutlly wrong!!!!!
You can not use those TANKS with a normal 510 atty!
They are made to be used with the 510-T atty.
You can put them in all the 510 atties you want, there is nothing in there to puncture a hole in the bottom of the tank.

I'm late, but actually he is not wrong. I use the same setup. you just have to be careful to not get the ones that require a T atty. the ones in the link he gave DO work with a regular 510 atty. I am using them right now! I don't even own a 510 T or ego T!

As I indicated in the post, I've been using them for quite some time. I even provided a picture of the tank with the 510 atty I'm using it with.

Like cags said, there are 510 tanks and 510-T tanks. The 510 tanks (the ones I linked to) work great with 510 attys.

goodtimes, I just bought these tank carts from BreezeSmokes. They're working great. I tried blue foam with one, have not noticed big difference from stock filler, but then the white stuff is new. I'm all set for a long time.

As cags said in prior post, there's a conversation about these in another forum - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/standard-e-cigarettes/217863-i-like-new-jessy-see-through-cartriidges.html

Edit: update...after more experimentation, blue foam comes through, seems more consistent than polyfill, I'll probably go with!

Will these tank carts work well with a Cisco LR atty?

Make sure you get a definitive answer to this before ordering because I think they're too small. I say that because I think a Cisco needs a different drip tip than a 510, but I could be wrong about that.

Edit: I may be getting a Cisco and a 306 confused.

Cart = all filler, tank = no filler and special atty, smart cart = combo that works on all 510. You're all talking about different things, it's quite amusing actually.

Breezesmokes.com calls them "510 Clear Tank Cartridges", Kingpincigs.com calls them "Smart Carts (tank cartridges)" and FreedomSmokeUSA.com calls them "Clear Jessy Cartridges" for their Jessy PV but also work on standard 510 attys. So the confusion extends to (perhaps begins with) vendors.

    Whatever they're called, they work.

These are "smart carts" as you said. I think of them as clear smart carts.... plain smart carts makes me think of the 2 piece cart, clear inner tank and black covering....... we can only go by what the vendors call them......

I call them "clear tank carts", but call them whatever you're comfortable with. They're not cartos and they're not official tanks in needing a special tank atty. They seem half tank, full of juice, and half cart still needing a little wicking filler, so I went with it. But, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet...

In the early days of e-cigs, people used to modify carts with all kinds of stuff, cutting the polyfill short and holding them up in the cart with springs and stuff. That was when blue foam and straw mods were born too. When people started the blue foam mod they used to call the cart a "mini tank".

    Anyway, they work. :)

I dealt with carts, 510 batts, and 510 attys for about 6 months. The past two months I've been dripping with 510 attys and I bumped it up to eGo batts. I was having so many problems fiddling with the cart filler and aligning the carts right and constantly getting dry hits that I couldn't take it anymore. My friend on here saved me and sent me an eGo just to try because I was nearly done with vaping at one point.

I was very convinced that carts were the way to go but it just didn't work out for me. But hey, like many have said to me, do what works for you :)

These "things" are better than stock carts. But yes, whatever works for you is great. Happy vaping!
