I cant do DIY because all you can get is candy and cake to DIY a vape. I don't eat candy and cake and i surely don't want to vape it. Why do all you ex smokers want to vape freaking "starburst"????. And when i say i don't want to vape Apples and peaches and freaking bubble gum, they say "ohh when your tastebuds come back you will change" Guess what there back and i still don't like vaping candy and cake.

The cheapest way to go is DIY can some industrious freaker pls get DIY for people like me going???

Candy and Cake are not the only flavorings you can get.
There are Alcohol/Beverage Flavors ( Brandy, Butter Rum, Coffee, Cola, Rootbeer, Cream Soda, Pina Colada, etc). There are Nut Flavors (Almond, Hazlenut, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, etc). There are Fruit Flavors (Apple, Peach, Orange, Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Cherry, Grape, Pineapple, Strawberry, LemonLime, Pomagranate, Watermelon, etc). There are different Tobacco Flavors too.
There is even Unflavored juice.

It's already been said, but the first thing I thought when I read your post was, "Settle down, spaz." You don't seem to have done much research yet into this.

Granted, there are a lot of sweet flavors out there - fruit, candy, etc. But there's also tobacco flavors of all sorts, as well as other types. Hell, Decadent Vapours makes a roast chicken flavor that you can mix with unflavored (haven't tried it yet, myself). I've also gotten into some of the liquor flavors recently - I'm right now vaping rum (from HealthCabin), and I've got whiskey at home. The whiskey tastes JUST like a shot of whiskey. I'm also thinking on getting some tequila flavor.

As far as why sweet flavors ARE so popular, it's not just because people have an insatiable sweet tooth or something. There's a thread on this, actually: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...why-i-smoke-e-juice-equivilant-appletini.html. Many people want to distance themselves from the taste of the cigarette (not EVERYONE) - sweet flavors go a long way to doing just that. But you don't have to like them. And you don't have to buy them. There's plenty of options available. Not everyone's going to like the same flavors. That's the great thing. If you actually LOOK AROUND, you'll see different sites offering all sorts of flavors.

Dred,

What's this "Stepwolves" all about, have you received it?

(sorry not trying to threadjack but hoping for some new tobacco flavors myself)

Having spent years on gaming boards I must say you have been treated extremely well after an outburst like that. I heard troll warning sirens going off as well, but now that you've apologized you can use all the friendly and wonderful advice from this community.

Hats off to all of you, you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din.

I actually thought that all those "sweet" flavours were not for me when I started out...I smoked hand rolling tobacco, WTF would I want blueberry, chocolate or whatever?

Reason is (for me), vaping is not smoking and is a different experience, I am now finding that the 555 and RY4 are my current faves, 555 is nutty and not very cig-like at all (IMO), RY4 is just like caramel or syrup or something.

I really liked the Virginia when I started this a few weeks ago, I've gone right off it now, will be ordering some more sweet flavours on my next juice run!

I apologize for my ignorance, all the sites i looked at for diy only had candy flavors. My current supplier has sent me a "mislabeled" bottle for the last 3 orders. i'm out of juice and yes a "spaz". I need a new supplier and was looking into DiY when i made this Spazzy post.

I don't know what flavors you've tried, but everything I thought I would love has been kinda ''eh' and things I didn't expect I'd like are yummy. I think that vaporizing a flavor changes things up a bit.

If you haven't tried the sweet stuff, maybe you ought to get a big ole slice of cake with a starburst on top. You might be surprised.

Raand1, I don't know if you're looking specifically for tobacco flavors or just something non-sweet. If the latter, and you like coffee, I recommend trying Johnson Creek's Espresso flavor. It's not sweet at all. In fact, I use it whenever I feel like I've hit a saturation point with the sweet flavors and need a break from them.

Trapped within my imagination
Unless I totally misunderstood the OP... she wants to DIY not buy commercial liquids??

Spazing or not. I know the pain of this Question... I do prefer tobacco flavs/unsweet even after all these months..With the sweet flavors for a short change of vape..

My solutions has been to buy my fav low to nonsweet commercial liquids and add a drop or two of flavoring to them...Cubin Cigar, winston, dunhill, benson and hedges, jantys- heavy shag isnt sweet but major strong and a few other tobacco flavors are very low on the sweet factor and they all hold up to cutting, providing you dont vape 36 mg to begin with lol. Totally wickets "unflavored nic" liquid, has the slight hint of a tobacco flav as does Fresh or Mild ecopure..All the ones listed above allow you to use them as bases for your DIYing..So you'll have the tobacco background ( toned as far down as you prefer) which will allow you to add just a hint of DIY flavorings ( keeping the sweetness low)... I have found Cinnamon to be nice for this (ecigsmokestores Red hot, requires only a few drops in one of these low level-sweet tobacco bases. Or a background( few drops) of coffee, vanilla etc. I would think hazel nut would be a good one..If you like that flavor

( Never refuse to revisit or try other flavors... I have come back to some that i couldnt stand early on and love now...I've had suppliers send me some that I neeever would have tried, and one of them is now my all time fav vape.. taste is constantly changing... Oh, and vape it for awhile. Dont just take one or two vapes, wrinkle your nose and toss it.. Giving it a lil time to get used to pays off lmao

Also, alot of Capella's DIY flavorings or on the low sweetness level.. Good luck

I've smoked menthol cigarettes for years. I never really got into flavored (and by flavored, I mean candy) cigarettes. Mainly because I never thought they tasted at all like they were labeled. With the exception of Camel Mandarin Mint. Those actually tasted like an orange, wrapped in mint leaves, and set on fire. Now I play around with flavors. Many of us are amused by actually having options other than "Slow Death" and "Slow Death with Vicks Vape-O-Rub". If you don't want candy, that's fine, there are a ton of recipes for tobacco flavors.

Nice post and no your not. I too have been searching for the holy grail for months and months now.
I have tryed about 15 different suppliers (thank heavens for 5ml sampler bottles). Still searching for a liquid or blend of liquids that is good with lager all to no avail.
I know where you are comming from with the DIY thang. Sure if you want to vape sweets, fruit, cake, dinner then DIY is very good. BUT as for Smoke flavour I have yet to find anything.
If any one has any links to flavour sites or recipys for Silk Cut let me know!!!
I have yet to see Laura Anns 5 dram bottle of Silk Cut concintrate!!

I agree...but I had the same reaction as the original poster when seeking out e-liquids.

And I had an even worse reaction when I ordered a liquid starter kit. I absolutely hated the sweet stuff made me nauseous. However my taste buds have definitely changed and dramatically with food as well.

I now don't even vape my tobacco flavors anymore...I'm bouncing around quite a bit. not so much on the really sweet stuff, except for cheesecake which I luv now. I'm definitely an RY4, and cappuccino girl for life now.

Whether it's sweet, savoury, alcoholic, or tobacco flavourings you want for DIY, or for a custom-made 'special blend' with whatever nic level you want, have a look at Flavourart Express shop at all their water soluble flavours, and in particular, the section entitled 'The Vape Heaven'.

They are an Italian-based flavour company (LorAnn's type company) who, following enquiries from vapers, have worked closely with vapers and entered the e-liquid market as well.

I have tried some of their flavours (and currently have a few of their new tobacco flavours) and they are rediculously strong! So they are going to last a very very long time!

(I tried some of the tobacco flavours at 5% flavouring, and it's far too strong for me! I am going to be diluting it down to around 2% I think!!!!)

This is so very true - at least for me, too, Razor. When I first started I ordered a JC welcome quit and I thought they were just nasty tasting. Today I took out the bottle of peach, and I could actually taste the peach. And I haven't even gotten off analogs yet, so I'm amazed that my taste buds seem to be recovering just from smoking less & vaping more.

I am off to check this out...Thanks, Angela!
