How many of you would smoke flavored cigs (cereal, fruit, pie, custard, etc) if you still smoked?

Cigarettes ARE flavored, but in a way that enhances and complements the tobacco taste. Experts say tobacco has close to no flavor otherwise. I don't have confidence a random food flavor would do work for me.

There are many wonderful tobacco vapes and it is a unique flavor, comparable but different than smoking. I didn't want something that didn't add something beyond replicating a food or drink's flavor. Vaping has some similarities to smoking in how it is enjoyed, I'm not sure what words to use other than maybe sophisticated or even "adult". Enveloping and immersive, in a sense maybe even intrusive. But I find it is a different experience to vape flavors, almost automatically but still some far more than others. Just a tiny bit like how there are mixed drinks where you can't taste the alcohol but you know it wouldn't taste like that without it. So I find it a great simplification to say "because it tastes good". Right now I'm debating whether to get some Uncle Junk'$ key lime cheesecake or use the money instead to order some more NET.com tobacco juice.

I would bet that the majority of the people that post here are ex-cigarette smokers ... You started vaping as a means to stop smoking cigarettes.

And I am willing to bet that very very few of you would have purchased flavored cigarettes (if they were available) when you were actively smoking cigarettes.

So, my question is .... Why are the majority of the ex-tobacco smokers here buying fruit, breakfast cereal, custard, bakery, candy, etc flavored juice to put in your atomizers?

BecaaAAaaAAUuuuuuUUUuussseeee: When a lot of people are quitting smoking the last thing they want is something to remind them of... smoking. Why make it harder to quit by trying to make the thing taste exactly like what you are trying to get rid of?

Me ... I DIY my juice which is a mix of various tobacco flavors to include some cigar overtones.

Me ... I just don't personally vape something that smells and tastes like apple pie, etc ... but that's just me.

And that's just them - or anyone who chooses to vape any flavor or even no flavor at all. Choice in vaping is a good thing - don't knock it. Any of it.

When I smoked cigarettes I didn't even like menthol flavor so I wouldn't have smoked flavored cigarettes myself. However, once I switched to vaping I started with tobacco flavored e-liquid and it worked to get me away from cigarettes, but it sure didn't really taste like a real cig to me. I soon switched to fruit and bakery type flavors to see what all the hype was about and boy am I glad I gave those types of flavors a chance. Amazing!! I honestly just wanted to get away from cigs and anything that tasted like them forever after smoking for 27yrs. Now I mix my own and have such a variety to pick from. Can't imagine I'd ever go back to anything that even resembles tobacco flavor but to each their own. Whatever keeps ya away from cigs is all that matters.

For I used to smoke Marlboro Smooth which tastes like an Andes chocolate mint.

Haha yeah those were actually pretty good cigarettes (I don't think they make 'em anymore, or they renamed 'em?) I remember always saying they had that same minty taste as a toothpick, that was probably one of the most "flavored" cigarettes I've ever had.

I never got to try the Camel flavored cigarettes before they were banned. I have tried "Orange Peel" cigarettes (I think that was the brand name?) and they were actually quite tasty, just too light for me to smoke all the time.

I never had fruity/funky flavoured cigarettes: never knew where to purchase them from, and anyway I was happy with burning leaves flavours since they are the easiest one to get hold of.

As for vaping, there’s so many distinct and interesting flavours to choose from. And for me its part of the fun, just vaping tobacco flavours all the time is boring. Plus I hate half the tobacco flavours I’ve tried and tend to enjoy the funky flavours more anyway so it’s a no brainer.

I remember trying lemon and licorice flavored cigarettes in my early days as a smoker and they were horrible. I never liked menthol either. As a vaper I'm grateful that we have such a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I still keep a handful of high quality NET tobacco juices in my collection and enjoy them because they deliver the flavor that tobacco aroma promised but couldn't deliver when burnt and inhaled.

No, I wouldn't have smoked flavored cigarettes.

Funny story, my first vape experience - I bought a Blu Starter Kit at Costco and it included regular, menthol, vanilla and cherry cartridges. I looked at it and thought who the heck would want vanilla or cherry??? I powered up the Blu, decided it had potential, got online and found ECF, did some research and ordered a better setup. While I was waiting for the new gear to arrive, I kept vaping the Blu and after the regular and menthol were toast (not very long), I had to try the vanilla and cherry. They weren't half bad. I was surprised!

My first juice orders were a variety of flavors to find what I like, including some tobacco flavors (thank you ECF). But I read recommendations to let the tobacco steep and by the time they had steeped, I'd dropped my nic level using the new gear! I PIF'd the tobacco juice and never looked back.

It's great that there are so many options - want a jalapeno on your pizza vape? Not me, but someone might. :)
