Am I using enough cotton?

Just wondering if I'm wicking properly. This is my second build so I'm super new to all this. The cotton seems to fill the coil but it doesn't look as fluffy as some wicks I've seen, or maybe it's just me. It hits well and tastes great so maybe I shouldn't worry. It just doesn't produce vapor like I thought it would.

I assume that is magma, what is your build reading at , ohm wise?...also have you try playing with the air flow ring controller?..both sides have the air holes open right?

coils look good and saturated to me, magma is known for flavor not huge clouds

Yeah, sorry for the lack of details. Magma rda with dual 28g kanthal, reading at .8 ohms. Both air holes open, been switching between the biggest and middle holes.

Cotton looks fine to me. I find mine look a little more slender than that at times with no issues on the Magma.

You may need to experiment with the amount of cotton in your wicks.

I have one of my Magmas set-up like yours. Dual coils are 5/64" ID with 10 wraps of 28 ga. each. The resistance is some 0.75 ohms. I have each of the cotton wick legs just touching the bottom of the juice well. At 18 watts, this set-up is extremely flavorful and is a steam machine.

My coils are just above the air holes, as well. Another excellent set-up is a single coil at 1.25 ohms.

You are using plenty cotton IMO. Some people twist the cotton kinda tight so it slides in then they untwist so its a thick cotton, But imo it gives it a bad burnt taste from long vapes because its so dense too.
