This might be old news but I specifically remember searching amazon for vape gear a month or 2 ago and only saw carrying cases. For fun I searched kanger today. Protank 2's on amazon for 19.99. Not a mindblowing deal or anything but I was surprised.

They have evics for $90 w/ a 2600mah battery and chager. There's also some mech mods and a zmax mini (crappy price).

If amazon latches on and starts stocking hardware directly then mom and pops will be in trouble for things like evods, coils, clearo's etc. I have amazon prime and get free shipping on a ton of stuff too. That makes a difference considering the barrage of vapemail I seem constantly get even though after every order I say "this should do it for a while".

If this is old news please delete this thread.

having been a prime customer since the program started, I had hoped they would be in this, but the only ones I've seen selling it are "market place" vendors, which don't do prime shipping. I can't believe how much I've spend in postage since I started vaping. The Vape industry might be what saves the USPS in the end :)

I didn't mean to imply they would put them out of business. Amazon can cut hard into online retailer's margins when they stock things in their 9 bazillion square feet of warehouse space. They will sell evods with free delivery for $3.75 and protanks for $12 and Sids for $34 etc.

If fasttech had 2 day delivery they would dominate. Amazon's direct fulfillment channel and price points cannot be beat and they have 1stop shopping with total consumer protection. No fraud, quality, or return worries.

They're just from resellers.

I just found an Itaste MVP and some Viva Novas.

They do have good prices on batteries, chargers, wick and Kanthal.

They just started letting resellers sell though. I'm almost positive this didn't exist 2 months ago. Amazon is a smart beast. They let resellers do test marketing for them then decide where it makes sense to go direct with fulfillment. Amazon only goes big with direct fulfillment. They buy an oceans worth of widgets when they know they can sell all the widgets with little or no price competition.

For right now, amazon means absolutely nothing to the ecig world. When they want to mean something it will be big. Or they may stay the heck away from it too. That could easily happen.

If they stay with the reseller route only and a lot of resellers join in then they have to compete heavily against each other for the popular things. This isn't a bad thing though because Amazon is the storefront. Everybody goes to amazon. Getting found there is easy if you have what someone wants at the right price. It's simple math for a reseller. Amazon gets their little slice, wholesale costs are fixed. You decide the margin. Want too much and nobody buys from you.

I tossed a Joye Upgrade PT into my basket @ Amazon Dec 12th 2012. Sent from Sun Vapers out of Ca across the country in 2 days flat.

Ecig stuff can be hard to find there, even with the search all feature. We still get put in the Hobby, Beauty categories, lol.

They're no longer associated. Amazon asks a lot from a company, and I think that benefits us consumers.

Sun Vapers is nice, Kanger certified (?) and they have RDA parts- like xtra orings and Screws. Nice prices on the stuff I got.

For a solid shop it could provide worldwide exposure benefits.

Amazon is seriously cracking down on people selling electronic cigarettes and gear. Just recently dozens of sellers have had their accounts removed by amazon. It's like eBay - it's prohibited but people sneak through the cracks.

Maybe that will change with a positive FDA decision in the near future.

I was just there for a bit- seems like mostly knock-off junk and overpriced at that.

Every time I get a package (which has been often recently), my postman says thank you!

This. Ecigs and ecig gear are not allowed by Amazon payments and anyone who sells them risks account termination.

I just did an amazon search for
    Ecig
And got 20 pages... Most were ecig and accessories. I don't think that amazon is cracking down very hard, if at all. They DO crack down if a vendor gets too many complaints though

Funny, I just did those searches last night and, "ecig" results to me are conspicuously lacking ecigs. Ecig accessories like stands or holders, and occasionally an atomizer or tank, but the devices you have to search by name and they are extremely limited. That's because of above, Amazon does not allow ecigs by the terms of their payment processing.

Ebay is also now listing e-cig stuff. They also allow Paypal payments.

Hardly. People will always violate the policies and some may even get away with it for a while. But any business doing this is frankly stupid, they risk getting shut down and their money frozen.
