Well, of course. If people's lungs worked, they wouldn't need the ALA. Therefore the ALA has a vested interest in making sure that lung problems abound.

BTW: One thing I do object to is the scare tactic of mentioning hydrochloric acid. That, like sodium hydroxide (lye) is used simply to balance pH and is harmless when inhaled in small, pH-balancing quantities. We use both HCl and lye in plenty of things for that reason, including pretzels (which get a lye dip).

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the ALA, ACS, AMA, and the other alphabet soup non-profits are all heavily funded by BP. But for some reason, nobody sees that as a problem, which is in stark contrast to what would happen to an organization that received any funding from BT. Perhaps people still think BP is a benevolent giant having public health as their primary goal

I think the BOLDED part is what people still think, unfortunately. There are some horror stories and books about their lack of benevolence, though, and it certainly didn't start or end with ecigs. :grr:

There are very few charities that I'll donate to anymore. In fact I grew a dislike for some of the local "non profits" that I became involved with. Large amounts of money coming in with minimum money actually going to the actual cause or research. JMHO from years of experience.

They're all over YouTube too. 60 minutes even called them out a few times, especially when big Pharma strong armed and blackmailed congress into passing the bill big Pharma wrote to eff over the Medicare patients.
We need someone like Abby Martin to expose the cross patterns. Between big Pharma infiltrating gov offices, lobbying, as well as the corrupt alphabet gangs and sin taxes, ... TSET, MSA, ALA, ACS, ... ACS has been kind of quiet lately, they must be working on a whopper eh.
I've sent Jesse Ventura notes of whom to contact for the scoop, and I've hinted around a lot to jones and Tolley, but I'm just a passing scroll in their vast posts and pm's. We need to flood them with facts, speakers, links to research further, like the ALA screaming "we've got to raise the taxes people!" to every state.
It's a vast and complex scoop. But a scoop it is!
Quit or die has turned into quit and die you sob!s!
