Just saw a thing on CNN about the ban of smoking in NYC and they mentioned it is illegal in Canada? The only posts I can find are customs confiscating shipments. What happens when I cross the border with my gear and juice? Will I have to go back to straight analog for the week I'm there? Will they confiscate everything? Confiscate our truck and boat?

I know they always asked about our tobacco (cigars and cigs) when crossing, but always assumed that was import tax stuff to see if we only had the amount for personal use.

Might not be a good idea. Where I go the local tribe is still 'at war' with the other citizens and the gov't.

I'm curious if anyone has gone through customs, they knew you had ecig stuff, and it was ok'd for personal use. I think it has to do more specifically high concentrate, but if they are refusing some shipments of juice.... I don't want to be refused entry after driving 8 hrs. I know how they are about denying folks with DUIs...

Its just illegal to sell nicotine juice. Its legal to posses. A customs agent could theoretically confiscate any nicotine juice thinking its illegal but highly unlikely. They sometimes confiscate nicotine via shipping, but that is because sales are illegal. I buy at Costco in the states and bring it back. Haven't had a problem, even being searched and not declaring it.

No, it is not illegal to sell nic juice. Many, many places sell nic juices openly. Health Canada likes to claim that it is, but there are no laws regulating the sale. Health Canada flags nic juice on importation to Canada and it sometimes gets sent back to sender, but that's the extent of it. They have no actual authority over the sale of nic juice or hardware in Canada.
