Okay, this question has been eating at me for a while.

Say I have a 120ml bottle of juice. In that bottle of juice, I have 3mg of nicotine. How much nicotine am I getting per drag when I drip? When I drip, I inhale considerably large clouds. I'm not really a cloud chaser anymore, it's just my preferred way of vaping.

I recently (last night) switched to 0mg of nic and I'm wondering if I'm really feeling a difference or if it's only in my head. It seems to me that 3mg of nicotine would be next to nothing. But I may be misunderstanding how it works.

Thanks!

Yeah, I understand what y'all are saying. I'm having some cravings today but they're not too terrible yet. My family has a bad history of heart problems due to clogged arteries, so I'm now wanting to kick the nicotine part of things as well. I'm not ready to kick it all yet, so I'm just trying to peel back the layers.

i reduced the nic below 3mg - to 1.5 and then 0.075! The knowledge that there was still some minuscule amount of nic in my juice kept me happy.

I make my own juice and i reached a point where it was more trouble to put say 10ml of nic in a 600ml batch of liquid, so i just left it out.

How long have you been without nic?

About 2 months now. I still enjoy the vape and the clouds.

My wife has steadfastly remained at 18mg (we quit at the same time) and that's fine too.
Not sure i could have gone from 3 to zero though.

I'm pretty strong willed, so if I can get past the first couple of days, I should be fine. I think it's mostly in my head to be honest though. It just scares me with all the heart problems my relatives have been having lately and nicotine is linked to hardening of the arteries.

I am going to assume you have 3mg per milliliter (3mg/ml) of nicotine in the 120ml bottle.

a typical vaper might use a total of 100mg per day.
In this case that's about 30ml per day.

I think what you want to look at seems to be the watts to mg relationship.
If you are vaping at 100 watts, you need more like 1mg/ml; 3mg/ml might be too strong.

I will say this, maybe it will comfort you on the nicotine side of things.

My friend, she is 20 years old. She is in the Army, but recently discovered a major heart problem. She used to smoke for 2 years. This heart problem that was discovered is going to result in her being medically discharged at 100%. She had testing done for about 4 hours and she talked to a civilian doctor (because Army doctors are useless helping, I know first hand since I was in the Army too). The doctor 100% supports vaping and encourages it with her. She was at 6mg and now she is at 3mg, but her doctor mentioned no problems whatsoever with vaping, even with her heart condition

It's actually "3mg per ml" -- so everytime you vape a ml, you're getting *roughly* 3mg of nicotine.

And yes, your body will feel a difference.

As I remember, @rolygate about a year ago gave estimation of 50%...
I think it entirely depends on the person and how long they hold in the Vape. Several of us did blood nicotine tests at different strengths maybe four years ago one person had 18% absorption one person had 5% absorption. And that was using 18 to 24 mg strength high PG liquids and slow long draws.

I know of I was absorbing 50% of the 48mg that are in the 3mL I Vape a day I'd be nauseous. That would be equivalent to 24 cigs a day.

Well, I stuck with the 0mg nic for 6 days. Then, I started thinking, what is the point of vaping if I'm going to be at 0 nic? So now, I no longer vape either. I am nicotine free, vape free and most important of all, SMOKE FREE!!! After getting over the nicotine addiction, it was like shutting a door.

I feel like an addict. I vape 12mg at 45 watts all day lol. I'm weird apparently tho. Most people drip 6 or less

I read somewhere it's around 30 percent I believe. I put 18mg in my subtank and tried to drip it and would get almost dizzy lol. I since reduced to 12. So let's say I used a couple ml in an hour. Well crap that's like 8mg. I definitely didn't use to smoke 8 cigs an hour. Maybe let's call it 10 percent. Hell idk. It would cool to see real studies on it tho.
