Does the mg of nicotine have anything to do with the amount of vapor you get from the juice? Obviously the throat hit will be lighter with the lower nicotine levels, but what about the vapor? More nicotine, more vapor? Depends on the flavor?

I'm looking at buying some 0mg nicotine, but want the most amount of vapor I can get.

The juice has plenty to do with vapor production, but the amount of nicotine does not make the juice :). On the same PV, 100% PG will produce significantly less vapor than 100% VG, whether it's 0mg nic or 48mg nic. The exact same juice on a different PV will produce a different amount of vapor, again regardless of the nicotine content.

Bigger/more powerful ecigs might vaporize more juice at once and may make more vapor for that reason

As for the juice, I think
- nicotine has nothing to do with vapor
- more VG in the juice means more visible vapor and less TH (also thicker) - I usually vape 70pg/30vg, sometime 50/50 for dessert flavors
- some juices have more or less vapor due to which flavorings were used, what the base liquid of the flavor was, how much flavor was needed (i.e. what percent of the juice needed to be flavoring). Many flavors are PG based, some I think water based, a few more difficult to work with ones are oil based, and I don't know what else

But in general, more VG is more visible vapor

I dont need any throat hit at all. In fact, I dont even want any throat hit. I want vapor, and lots of it ( if possible).

I'm currently trying to quit smoking, but my biggest "addiction" is the hand to mouth/visual of smoke feel.

I just want vapor, vapor, vapor.

Advice?

I've been vaping for a month and am still using the 510. I was struggling a bit recently since I don't want to drip, but it seemed I was constantly refilling the carts. Then I discovered the Highping Mod! Just today, as a matter of fact. It's FANTASTIC and gets me a TON of vapor. It's a really easy mod for the new vaper to try. So far, so good....

If all your after is vapor production go to your local pharmacy and buy GLYCERIN whole lot cheaper than buying ejuice, you can add any flavor to it if you want.

the only thing that could be added to the PG / VG that hasn't already been mentioned , and may explain a bit why people don't usually go 100% VG is that VG is, by its very nature a bit sweeter, much thicker, and can mute the flavors a bit. PG is thin and tend to carry flavors better. Just a guess, but that is probably why Dormouse and others may use a higher VG concentration for "dessert" flavors.

Best.
