Hello everyone,

been gone one a while again meaning yet again I feel lost in all the new stuff on the market.

Had a few questions and hoped y'all could help out in answering some of them.

The only thing I use for 2ish years now is my provari, dripping into an atty or while on the road a old carto tank.

So here some questions.

atty tanks

A. Does the AMP tank leak with proper usage?
B. are the bottom and top cap a bit more solid now or are they loose to the point where they just come apart and you end up swimming in ejuice?

C. Are there any other (better) atty tanks on the market which are not Rebuildable once?

carto tanks

I would like to get a new regular carto tank preferably metal over plastic.

A. Would the prive from avid vapor be a good choice?

B. Any other recommendations in regards to carto tanks?

sorry for all the questions.

thank you all for the help.

I'm not into cartos, but i keep reading that IBtanked is the way to go for cartotanks.
I'm going to try it myself someday aswell.. :)

Sorry if i'm not so much of a help. Just posted incase you haven't heard about IBTanked. :)
They've fully customized tanks of your choise. :)

Edit:
I thought amp tank was a carto tank for some reason. But that's not the case...
Well i guess my tip still applies somewhat.

If you are willing to splash out the $100+ on an amp tank and HH357 atomizer, may I humbly suggest something bottom feeding like a REO (REOsmods.com) or even a VMOD (Vapage.com) They are not tanks, but liquid bottom feeders where the eliquid feeds into the atomizer from the bottom. Kind of like dripping upside down.

You get all the benefits of the amp tank, like vapor and flavor, but it's a much more stable setup up. I use both as my daily drivers and I will say that it's all the plus sides of dripping but in a neat life-proof package.

I know you said you don't want to rebuild. With a REO, even though I would recommend the RM2 (which is rebuildable) you can use it with a regular 510 dripping atomizer or cartomizer.

I have five AMP Tanks paired with HH.357s that I use for flavors in my primary rotation. None leak but mine stay at home. I would not trust them not to leak if there would be significant temperature or altitude changes.

You can get two different thicknesses of o-rings for the AMP Tanks. The glass stays on very well using the thick ones. However, you must be very careful when putting on the glass tanks with the thick o-rings so as not to crack the tank.

I have to take two or three manual pulls per tank to feed my AMP Tank once it gets on the empty side. Other than that it auto-feeds my 70PG/30VG juice. Higher VG juice will likely require more manual pulls to feed.

You have to manually feed the atty by squeezing a bottle like a VMOD but a Vision Aurora will work with any regular atty that does not have a sealed bottom. You would need an eGo adapter to use it with your Provari. Also, the Aurora's bottle is only 1.6 ml. Scott's review shows how the Aurora works.

I don't use carto tanks because I'm one of the minority of people who can taste the polyfill in cartos. However, the IBTanked and Phiniac tanks seem to be held in high regard by carto tank users.

Thank you for the info on the carto tank sleezy. I'll check that out right now actually.

@intheshade: I owned a bunch of reos from wood to metal mini or tall and always liked them a lot. Maybe I have to buy a vv reo if they actually came out with it finally. Always worked great for me in the past.

@peraspeda: you make a fantastic point and I appreciate that. Living in freaking hotlanta inexperienced leakage with a lot of things due to the heat. Awesome point I really appreciate that.

Funny how I feel so lost with all the new stuff out there yet all recommendations go back to the roots just the way I hoped.

I honestly don't mind dropping $100 here and $100 there for a simple reason. When I started vaping I bought mod after mod, juice after juice, atty over atty probably $200-$300 a month totally unacceptable.

Now that I have my setup I really didn't spend any money at all on vaping other than some juices cartos or attys in about a year plus. That means I can spend some money without feeling bad about it and that guys is a fantastic feeling lol.

Thank you all for the input it's really appreciated folks.
