I'm just curious as to what the Provari V2 switch is rated at. Is it 3.5 amps?

Not sure about a switch but the unit is limited to 3.5A

So the switch is on the output of the regulator? Input amps will, of course, be higher.

I think you may find that the fire button is a micro switch and the voltage/amperage to the atty does not go thru the switch...the switch, I think, controls the micro processor....but without seeing a schematic, I'm just guessing...
