I violated a forum rule by ranting about a company's shipping policy. Shouldn't have been ranting anyway, I'm sure it's some legal reason, and I didn't read the forum rules close enough. Both my fault.

I was miserable... Getting the nicotine, but no WTA's. Went and got snus, feel way better after only about 8 hours.

Now, I see this thing from "tropical Bob" on video about making vapor out of snus packets and glycerin. I browsed around the smokeless tobacco area and saw nothing but standard snus use so I asume this portion-soaking thing wound up being a flop, but I though I'd ask, and can only post here. I can use both until I can wean off but to vape WTA's would be nicer, and right now it's in the young stage and expensive. If I could soak some portions to get the WTA's and get the nic content reasonably correct, that'd be great. Was also curious as to why they didn't dissolve the powder in the glyc. when heating (loose snus). Only thing I could think of was maybe dirty cartos after awhile.

BTW the snus is enjoyable, and I can't believe I've been using cigs and smokeless tobacco for years and never heard of it. The stuff is great.

Again, sorry about the rant and the rule violation, Peace.

I have soaked peppermint snus and caped it. I liked it but even a strong flavor as the peppermint I needed to add more flavoring to. I did not add anymore nic to it I didn't feel I needed . The snus I used was pretty weak on the nic. I soaked 3 pouches in a pg/vg mix for 3 weeks and it was good. I think that to speed up the soaking process you could heat the pg and steep it like tea.

I didn't see much wrong with the original post, and the information is a little obscure. Even after some google searches I've only found opinions that the higher shipping cost of snus is due to PACT/UPS and not SwissPost or the EU ban or higher state taxes or whatnot.

Glad you were able to get your snus and that it's working for you! I'm thankful snus exists. I've never tried dip but it sounds bothersome having to spit all the time.

Regarding using snus for vaping, this sounds neat but I would be worried about vaping any of the additional chemicals in the snus that perhaps you shouldn't be putting in your lungs. The process of making the nic that goes in e-liquid involves taking tobacco and extracting only the nic (or, even with the +wta process, it is still eliminating much of the extra chemicals or so it seems.) Even if snus is produced using a much safer process, I still wonder what else you'd be vaping with that.

That being said, I see Tropical Bob is using a General Mini Mint. I have a General Mini Mint. I think I'm going to have to give this a try as soon as I can figure out how to stuff a vg-soaked snus portion into an 808 cartomizer...

Can someone point me to that rule? I'd like to read it before I post about a company I have strong opinions about. Thanks.

Why not try extracted tobacco juice - they have WTA in them naturally. If you like snus - Red Pirate is an extracted smokeless tobacco from Want2Vape along with others they make. Vapor-age also has great extracted tobacs.
