an e-cigarette definitely seems like a good alternative for me..

good morning, good afternoon and good evening!

so the last few years i have been an occasional smoker, usually when out with friends, or just when i am feeling a bit thoughtful and fancy hanging out the window to think for ten minutes (almost the exact length of time it takes me to smoke a superking cigarette), or i smoke in public when i am alone to keep my mind off my anxiety.
i am by no means a '15 a day' person or anything, a 25g pack of tobacco lasted me a whole year. but as i've had to start going out more frequently, a 20-pack of menthols will last me a month, although my last pack lasted two weeks, but it was a busy two weeks.
also i've noticed when intoxicated from alcohol, i really like smoking. a lot. pretty much chain smoking in the summer, due to the drunkenness being outdoors.

so i feel like my smoking is slowly increasing, and, well, you know. not great for my lungs, not great for the lungs of anyone near me, smells awful, doesn't taste very good. so an e-cigarette seems like a good alternative - still gives me something to play around with in public and keep my mind off anxiety, still lets me look like a cool dragon spitting out clouds, etc.. not a great fan of nicotine either, so nicotine free puffing would be awesome.

ahh, forum ate half my post and the auto-save only retrieved the above! was probably too rambley anyway. very short re-typed version:
joyetech eroll looks good, but i don't like the fake iphone pcc..

i think ideally i like this:

aesthetics are important, and hot dang that looks awesome! from what i read it is an ego mini battery, unsure of the other parts. but the battery is (from quick googling) 350mAh, which should last 3~ hours of puffing before needing a recharge? that seems definitely long enough for a night out for me, and if it isn't i can buy another battery :p

soooo, how would i go about constructing the above for myself? it really looks perfect to me.
i am in the UK, a website (or two) where i can find the parts would be helpful, but these things seem very mix and match when it comes to the individual parts, so just letting me know what i need and i am sure i can find where i need to go to get them!

thanks a lot in advance, apologies for rambling on!

edit: shoot! think i might've found it already.. http://www.vapourettes.com/mini_ego_510_c.html -- feel free to edit my link out if it counts as unwanted advertising or something :)

WARNING! The kit you spotted on edit is not the same as the one you pictured.

The 350mah mini eGo battery in your picture is shown with a CE clearomizer, which is an easy-to-use top coil delivery device, a fairly standard offering for beginners. The kit at vapourettes.com shows a cartomizer with cone cover. It's older technology, a bit more fussy to fill and use successfully, and has lower juice capacity. There's nothing inherently wrong with the carto option, but you should understand it's not the same type of delivery device.

If you want to build your own kit, you might check out Liberty-Flights. They have the 350 mini, as well as CE4/5 clearos. And it looks like you might save you a little change, too.

welcome to vaping my friend! i am a little new to the scene as well but i can give you a few pointers. I started off with an ego-t. go to joyetech.com and read up on all their products to get you started. The part you see on top of the battery is called a clearomizer. it consists of and atomizer (which is the coil that heats up the liquid) or "atty" for short and a tank to hold the juice all in one. It uses a wick to get coil into the atty and create the vapor. Its a really good start out option because other set ups consist of the atty and tank separately which may be a little harder for new users. As i said go to joyetech.com and read up on all of their products. I live in the USA so i am not familiar with many UK suppliers. Let me know if you have any other questions!
