Since you're just starting out, don't care what it looks like, and can charge at home....

Two options, both with 510 threads (most variety as far as cartomizers, attys, dripping etc).

Riva 510 or the ego. I would personally recommend Liberty-Flights like others above. Can't beat the prices. I went a different route initially and wish I had started with these. About the size of a sharpie marker, can last easily half a day on a charge with constant vaping. Many can get a whole day per batt out of these.

My opinion: don't go any smaller on the batteries (KR808, DSE901, Joye 510, etc). You will be living in battery charging hell and will have to work to manage it. Again, just my opinion, but I do think it deserves consideration, and you were asking for recommendations! :)

Good luck with whatever route you choose to follow!

Like Ren said the smaller Ecigs more like a cigarette will have very bad battery life few hours at best but they work for some ppl.But i just find it better when i can get half a day out of one battery as it makes it so much easier and the transition from smoking to vaping easier. And to me the Easier it is the quicker it will be to pick up on so you dont get overwhelmed

i disagree with that statement on the KR808 batts. i have the standard size and the XL batts and can always get a full day and a half on the standards & 2.5-3 full days on the XL. so imo that's not "battery charging hell"...V4L is my vendor of choice (not affliated, etc just a satisified customer!)

I went to Liberty Flights and am looking at their "Riva 510 - Lite Bundle" for $37.49. So this is a good unit to get that will provide a good throat hit and vapor consistently? The problem with my Smoke 51 Trio is that it hits good a few times and then you can barely feel it.

Also, I was trying to find a picture of their blank cartridge but couldn't find one. Can somebody tell me what this looks like? Is it similar to my Smoke 51 - just a little piece of poly fiber in the cartridge end that you put a few drops of e-juice into? How many drops do you put in it and how long does it last before needing to add more drops?

Also, is that a button on the unit that you press right before taking a drag?

Thanks for all your help!

the GO GO..................hands down..................dont waste your money on anything else! i have been vaping since 2008 and FINALLY hit the jackpot with finding the ultimate vaping machine! please read the GO GO threads on ECF.....the search is over!

p.s. go to CigEasy and order yours soon! they are going like hotcakes. Nhaler is the only other company that sells them and they have been out of stock and wont get more in for a few more weeks.

I have been reading a lot of the threads on ECF and came across great reviews of the eGo. I was strongly considering that one when I came across the eGo vs. GoGo thread, and now I am really interested in trying the GoGo. It seems like MUCH less hassle than my current PV (Prosmoke supermini). I have trouble getting consistent vapor out of it, and the battery only last 1 or 2 hours. ARGHH! These, and the lack of a good throat hit (regardless of PG or VG juice) have kept me from completely leaving analogs, which is my ultimate goal.

Is the band color the only difference between the CigEasy (silver) and NHaler (gold) models? I like the gold one better at NHaler but, as you said, they will be out for some time and I don't know if I want to wait that long.

You can't go wrong with the Go-Go. It is the most consistant long lasting PV I'v had in 17 months of vaping. There isn't any difference between the two. Nhalers are several weeks out being as they just shipped.

Two to three DAYS on a single XL KR808? Wow! :)

It all depends on how much you vape, and how often you reach for the PV. I use mine at work, home, and in the car. I'm not a "smoke break" kind of vaper, so the KR808 batts I started out with lasted *maybe* 2-3hrs of moderate vaping. I always had one in the PCC charging and basically flip-flopped between at least two batts (280mAh) all day long. So for me the KR808 ended up being totally inadequate for my needs. Sounds like your vaping may be a bit less than mine in terms of intensity, and the V4L KR808 are one of the best I've found for these batts (especially those crazy ones with the 20sec cutoff).

I'd still push an eGo, or some other PV with a minimum 600+ mAh. Wish somebody had beat this into me when I started out with my KR808s! :)

Big thing to consider with a Riva (excellent vendor in LF there, btw). The standard Rivas started out with a 3.4V output. Since that time the "SE" or Special Edition models have been released that are true 3.7V devices (just like a KR808 only with a much bigger battery). This means to get a bigger TH you may need to look at lower resistance attys if you go with the standard 3.4v model.

Personally I'd go with the Riva 510 SE, it's about $34.39 before shipping (little less than 5 bucks more than the lite bundle). This will allow you to use "regular" 2.5-2.8 ohm attys as well as the 1.5-2.0 low resistance models. I think it comes with 2.0ohm attys in the kit.

The vapor production will be fairly consistent, since the batts are 750mAh, they will DEFINITELY last for hours before they even begin to drop off.

I don't have a good pic of the cart. :(

The button is for activating the battery, you will need to press that when taking a drag. Sounds kinda strange if you've used auto batteries (that's what I thought at first myself), but trust me, you will have no problems adjusting! :)
