Hey bert...Wanna pay shipping on a grab bag?...LOL...Just kidding...but seriously..Getting the ball rolling on ideas for this is great, keep them coming!!!!!

If we did the unknown trade thingy...each would be responsible for the shipping to the other..that way it's fair for both...

And...would be a great Christmas trade idea.....sorta like exchanging presents...

Maby it is as simple as the rules being enforced in the garage sale thread. No trades allowed there as it was intended to be.
There is a swap thread for trades.

I know Mini art...I wondered about that too...But why not start something new & different instead of going through another melt down, Don't you agree?

It would be cool if all of the members, who wanted to, could have a secret santa at Christmas. maybe draw numbers and have one of the mods PM you the info of the person you are to gift to. like a $10 limit

Sorry about that, I was talking about Pif in general almost becoming non existant because of problems...I just wanted to stay away from things that would cause something like that again & to have new ideas talked about.another good idea JJrose/Clumsy, Jules is keeping an eye on this for us & will be talking to the others about these Ideas...Keep um comin!!

I have definitely thought about the whole secret santa thing. You know we are going to have to do it! We are all about gifts!

And I know it's a ways off but if you do decide to do it you should organize it into three groups:

People who just want to give
People who want to give AND receive
People who can't afford to give

Oh heck Salanna, why not just a submit your name to the Secret Santa if you want to participate. That solves the organize problem.
Make it a dollar limit , a very low one so most can participate if they choose to.
Home made items are always treasured and welcomed too.
People do this all the time offline, it should work fine here too.

Wouldn't this whole "grab bag" and secret santa thing be safer with juice or things that are universal?

I don't know I would be scared of getting non-510 stuff. High nicotine juice I could water down if I can take it, or play with it if I don't like it. People off nicotine would have to PIF it I guess.

I know that the point of a secret santa is a gift and sometimes you get one you don't like, I just see SO many things that aren't "universally" used....

EDIT: I guess you may be knowing who you are sending to, I guess I would just update it to then say that you may want to think about the trouble of finding people who are compatible.

An example is a recent user who needed stuff only used VG, that would require the sender/receiver to have compatibility. It's a neat new idea, just seems like it is better done between user-user like Clumsy was talking about.

I think a simple solution to the whole Secret Santa thingy would be...

Each participant has to post in the thread....

What devices you use
What attys or cartomizers you use
What nic juice you vape & What types of liquid you like ( minty, dessert flavors or tobacco )
What type batteries you use
anything else that matters.

That way...it would be a secret gift still , you wouldnt know what you were getting...but from your posting, the gift-er would know what you used and needed.

Yeah I don't know which people would prefer, I also changed quite frequently, used to use 510 atties and now I will only use them to taste juice. Just saying it would be a shame to give away stuff that wouldn't be used...
