Probably a bad idea, since we want as few ingredients as possible, but how about colored, glow-in-the-dark or fluorescent vapor? Just imagine exhaling a colored cloud that looks like those festival where they throw pigment on each other, or vaping in a club and the black light makes you look like a dragon from OZ.

Think that would be super! :D

Well I've already learned this week that there are beads you can put in your clearos and tanks, so yes - why not!

I'd go for UV, I reckon they can make a UV vape that glows in the dark and looks like ectoplasm.

Who ya gonna call? Cloudblowers.

Omg! There are glo-beads you can put in your tanks!?!? Thats awesome! Seriously, why didn't I think of that! Amazing!

As for nicolays idea, why not? Just need to figure it out! I got a friend that vapes and is DIY and shes trying to incorp liquid caffeine into her DIY e-liquids...very cool indeed!

Yes. I have been to a lot of clubs throughout Europe. Never seen a fog machine that puts out colored fog. There is a reason for that. Only actual smoke or solid particulates can produce color. Same theory applies to vaping.

I hear ya. But just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean it can't be done. And no, I don't know how to do it.

But given enough time and money, as I am so fond of saying, all bets are off

Perhaps a finely powdered pigment like a colored chalk dust, but that would burn on the coil and taste horrible and possibly not be healthy. Not to mention it would cake your coil so fast you'd get like 2 or 3 drags and need a new coil. As far as liquid colorings maybe if you put enough food coloring into it it might alter the color? throw like 10 drops of coloring into 10ml and see what happens. I was just thinking about this same idea yesterday as I was walking down the street lol .

There is another issue at hand though. Even if we were able to produce colored vapor we probably sholdn't as it would become even more of a political hotbed related to the issue of marketing to minors.

P.S. You could always add a superbright colored LED into the top or bottom of your mod and blow your vape over it.

P.S.S. You could even make it a color changing LED and link the color control of it to your VV settings if you're really technical, so hotter vape = hotter color

I have to agree. Being a professional musician (drummer) when we used color fog we had flood lights (in the color we wanted), about 2 feet infront of the fog machines behind me and that's how we obtained color fog.

The chemical that causes the glow in the dark effect is poisonous anyway. If you will read the warning labels on the glow sticks it states: Content In Sticks can be harmful or fatal if swallowed... I know we wouldn't be swallowing the liquid BUT we are still putting it in our bodies by inhaling it. It wouldn't be the same amount on an inhale as if it would be if we swallowed it BUT over time it would take its toll on our lungs.

We started Vaping to have a healthier way to take in our nicotine and to get away from the chemicals in a analog. If they add this chemical to the juices then someone is gonna come up with another chemical to get the vapor or juice to do this that or the other. Pretty soon Vaping is gonna be pointless and analogs are gonna start looking pretty good again because there isn't gonna be a difference between the two.

I say if its not broken why fix it...

About every three months someone starts this thread. If there WAS a way to do this, would you REALLY want to vape the chemicals required to do it? No offense, but it's a silly idea.

Apologies, didn't know about similar previous threads, and as I said ... it was just a silly idea not to be taken too serious.

Hah last time I posted my silly idea "Does vape contain calories or fat?" it turned into a 5 page+ discussion which actually led to helping some people with diabetic related information.

Imagine how silly Nicolai Tesla felt..I'm going to see if I can create lightning indoors! Now we would be nowhere without electricity.
