Hi guys,
I'm Adam from West Sussex, and I have a big problem.
I bought this kit 650mAh Twin EGO-T with LED (Black) 53402 eGo as the price seemed to be pretty good (although I now wish I bought it from the UK)
Out of the box I charged the batteries and tried it out and this disgusting, noxious oily taste and vaper came out. After seeking advice here on the forums I thought it might have been primer, I blew it out (nothing was there) tried again and it was even worse, to the point were I couldn't even hold the vapour in my mouth it was that bad.
I dry burned it for a second and the smell was coming from the coil.
After watching a youtube video I learnt it might have been some kind of manufacturing chemicals so, on the advice of a fellow forum member, I got some vodka and let the attys sit in it for a couple of hours. I blew out as much as I could and then left them for about 18 hours in my airing cupboard to make sure they were fully dry.
I hooked them up to the batteries just now and the coils aren't heating up, they both make a crackling / popping sound but there is no sign that the coils are firing up.
Do you think both of these attys were screwed from the start??
I have never read of anyone else having the same terrible experience I have had, the taste was not primer that much I'm sure.
At least the batteries work I suppose....
Any thoughts?
