All I can picture is the musicians in the Titanic movie at the end! Only difference is that I do think Ripp will pull it out. It just takes alot of time. It is extremely time consuming and challenging to convert a technical product idea like this into a mass-produced item.

It's a big undertaking, even on a small scale... right now Ripps biggest challenge is managing expectations... people understandably want it NOW, because the idea is fresh and novel... and attention spans can run short. Is the product worth waiting for? It seems as though it is, though I think he lost a few when people saw the scale of it... it's much larger than many people imagined it would be, and people are waiting on several iterations of it as well... the ego sized feeder, the full sized, the core and the ohm... as a conceptual system it has great merit... but as individual parts, each of the components translates to another round of waiting, more CAD and CAM negotiations and the fully expected and reasonable delays.

The announcement was a premature spritz of excitement by a person who is quite new to the manufacturing/marketing game. He has tens of thousands invested, it's obvious, and I'm sure he's nervous watching the interest in this idea wane a bit... and the pressure is growing. We've seen other product launches go terribly wrong because of this exact same mistake... a mistake Ripp is not likely to make again... but only time will tell if this series of ideas will fully evolve into a full line of products, and only then will we be able to see if the full range of components will function well as a cohesive unit.

On the flip side... there is strong market pull for a bottom feeding tube device. He's got the right idea, and a good design that absolutely works. I use my hand built version every day, and it's a great device, in spite of the less than diminutive size. In all likelihood, if you're holding out for a bottom feeding bottle feeder for a tube PV, your BEST bet will be to wait this one out, as it is the most likely device of it's kind to hit the market first.

He just has to get to the market before the Chinese version, which is most certainly being developed as we speak, because they don't give a rats tail feather about Ripps intellectual property.

At this stage, with the waiting happening on this and several other forums, time is the enemy for sure... but with all that being said, his ONLY chance of making his money back, and continuing the development of the full line is for those of us that have been cheering him on CONTINUE to do so, and at the end we need to put our money where our voyeuristic mouths are and buy one or more when the product hits the shelf.

Hurry up Ripp!!! Hahaha jk. Guess whose vaping again??? Hit me up on the cell sometime, let's meet up!

OOHHH!!! Jonny !!! How I miss my vaping buddy ...

To everyone else... Me and Charlie have been trying to fit everything with in our crazy work schedules ... We are doing some re-designs of the Surge Tank just for the ease of assembly. Not that you guys will assembly anything ... It will be complete once shipped out ... I'm making it soo it would only take us a few seconds to put one together instead of 1 for every 15minutes...
