Sir Lawrence puts stickers inside the tube of the Saber Touch as to which battery to use and which way to insert it. Good job.
YES. The Saber is my first mod, and he put stickers inside showing how to insert the batteries, and had a piece of paper with instructions on it. Some were even highlighted due to specific models (even though SOME people don't read them.. bahahahaha!!!!.. you know who you are lol)

ok first a little bit of devil's advocacy...
So, Domino...when your super T precise had a loose button and was misfiring...Did ya consult the instructions that came with it to realize that the spring had fallen out when you opened it up?...or did ya post here?

(I'm teasing.. :D )

but yes I agree with you...generally the vendor is going to include a packing and ordering slip anyway...there's no harm in also printing out the warranty information as well as vendor recomended battery suggestions and some basic maintenance suggestions...or at the very least including a URL for maintenance suggestions and basic instructions...I agree that super T is very good at that..Including instructions on cleaning and maintenance and keeping peak performance and battery suggestions...but I'd expect that of a high end mod...if anything it should also help to cut down on un needed questions asked of the vendor, cutting down on the time they need to spend answering questions giving them more time in the shop to make more mods.

How many need instructions to work a flashlight?

I could point you to some flashlights that sure as heck need instructional literature, maybe even evening classes. Or just do a web search for 'tactical flashlight'; you'll find some with enough operating modes to make your eyes cross.

AND, batteries don't always NOT work in the unit if they're in there the wrong way.

I was browsing around a week or so ago, just curious what was out there with replaceable batteries. Found one that works with the battery in either way, and that's how you select whether the LED functions. That's actually a pretty slick idea. But might not be obvious to someone who wasn't paying close attention.

I'm all for providing good end-user documentation. Nothing worse than getting a shipment, opening it up, and finding yourself thinking, "Well, what now?"

Perhaps some of the mod builders don't write? I worked in the School of Engineering for awhile and it was amazing at how simple, written instructions eluded many.

Perhaps some of the juice suppliers would also consider including more information on their labels than a hand scribbled flavor/nic mg.
Some are super excellent with all the information you need like flavor, nic content, ml amount, supplier name and website address, production date, and various cautions.
