Lets say all vendors were bought out by a super rich logger by the name of Jeremiah The Third, allowing him to raise prices dramatically and decrease functionality of future PVs. Which PV could I buy right now that would be 100% rebuildable (I'm talking even the fire button), VV or VW, and durable in nature. And I have a feeling some of you may suggest the Provari (particularly because of the durability), but keep in mind that part of what makes this PV so desirable is it's (basically) lifetime warranty. In the scenario I provided, ProVape wouldn't be around to fix your unit for you were anything to happen, so keep that much in mind. Self sufficiency is the name of the game folks.

Since you say you want a VV or VW APV to be 100% repairable and durable to last forever then search the internet for instructions and purchase the individual parts needed and build your own. Make sure you get extra chips and switches and atty connectors to rebuild when needed just in case Jeremiah the third buys all those up too ;) No VV or VW APV on the market today is going to last forever without needing repairs, electronics aren't made durable as in to last forever today.

Thanks for the DIY suggestions, I guess I'll take a look at that (was hoping that wasn't going to be the common response ). I haven't even mustered up the courage to try rebuilding my Nova head yet lol.

If you are wanting self sufficiency I would highly suggest youtube and the hundreds of vids on making your own mod. However that scenario could never happen, just as the FDA will never be able to ban mods.

According to the CASAA site, the FDA could theoretically attempt to place a ban on all ecig related products released after 2007 (devices included), until they feel they've tested them thoroughly enough to deem them safe (years if ever). But I'm with you on that not happening. I was thinking about going 'rebuildable' before I heard of this FDA hearing anyway, and after researching rebuilding my Nova heads, I figured the next big step in making myself more self sufficient would be device itself (as I have enough juice for a good while). Worth a shot to see if the community had suggestions on the matter.

You might do what I'm doing: waiting to get the Super T Precise ELA (David will be making an integrated RBA for this, not to mention a Evolv DNA 20 attachment) and invest in a handful of Kicks and 18650 batteries. Super T has a transferable lifetime warranty on their stainless steel devices. Their devices also feature rhodium plated contacts (which are incredibly tough and do not oxidize) and Super T has a reputation for top-notch quality and design.

If you don't want to wait, I would get a Super T Precise + with a Kicklet. The Kicklet is a 510 attachment only for the Kick. Because the Kick would never be moved (and it would be slathered in Noalox), its lifespan would be dramatically improved. There is a set being offered in the classifieds right now.

Cheers!
