Ok I have been successfully vaping for almost two months. No analogs. No cravings. Today, that craving is rearing its head like some long-extinct monster. I cut back from 24 to 18 about a month ago with ease. What's going on? I fought with my steering wheel past the convenience store this morning and broke out some old 24, no success.

I will not SMOKE! However I am looking for some tips. I did read that when quitting smoking the urge can return at about the 6 weeks mark, maybe this is all it is an once it passes I will be ok:(.

Don't want to raise my nic intake either.

What about a temp nic increase? A few drops of higher concentration for when the craving hits bad, and right back to where you're at after that - just to help meter you out a bit during a rough spot. Seems like an ok idea to me, its my plan.

This may work... Looking at some sample size higher nic concentrates right now. Going with sample sizes I hope will prevent me from increasing the level on any consistant basis.

This is just really weird and out of the blue.

Good thing about ecigs is... if you fall off the wagon it is easy to get back on....unlike other NRT's.

Too true on that one but recent experience has led me to believe that I have eother developed and allergy to analogs or something equally as weird... LOL That's funny, even with my last experience with analogs, passing by the convenience store this a.m. took a sheer act of will... lol I will not smoke, I will not smoke...... lol!

Been 8 days since I had an analog...I was hoping I was over any cravings coming back. I put my rolling tobacco in a ziploc, I suppose I can just bust that out if I need to remind myself why I quit!

OMG I did the very same thing--plastic bag, in it is loose premo hand roll tobacco, papers a little scissors to trim the ends and lighter...

sorry Mame,

Please forgive me I'm high on 24mg. vape and Turkish coffee..

cigarettes contain like a million chemicals. any number of which have properties not fully researched/understood.

they contain formaldehyde for example which has been shown to undergo changes when under extreme heat (fire...) that make it addictive. its not fully studies and I'm not fully read on the subject but you may not just be going through a nic fit as you obviously get nic (I also get plenty and lust for an analog at times) but we may be itching for a dose of all kinds of goodies like formaldehyde that we didn't even know we are hooked too.

Cigs are nasty little things- stick to the plan milk this and try to quit eventually and if you fail take comfort in the fact that stand alone nicotine will just keep you a junkie- not a dying one.
