As for being around smokers, that has never bothered me. I allow people to smoke in my car and will go outside with them while they smoke and I vape. When friends and family visit they still smoke in my garage and I go out and talk with them. Oddly enough I never been struck with a crazed craving in these circumstances and I haven't had any after the 4 month mark.

Like so many I wanted to appease my brain so I started with a white auto reg/orange l.e.d. and my first orders were Kamel. Then I ventured onto Classic Caramel Mocha Frappe, Nuport, and RY4 which kicked the door wide open for trying other flavors.

I quickly discovered I wasn't a dessert or fruit person, then the RY4 all but disappeared. Right about that time V4L came out with their Wow line of liquids. I instantly fell in love with RazzWow and Wow Peppermint and found a home with Wow 555 and Wowboy. Although they are considered tobacco flavors, they really seem more like they are distantly tobbaco-ish in undertone, as opposed to say Cowboy or Kamel.

When friends say, "I want a true tobacco flavor" I tell them to saddle-up and order the Cowboy.

We'll all hold your hands so you can't reach for an analog!

I still don't consider myself as "quit," I don't quite trust it yet - I keep think "relapse" is just around the corner. But, it doesn't matter - so long as the analogs stay out of my hands, I'll learn to relax and enjoy rather than worry about what tomorrow might bring. Even if it brings an analog, it isn't something to worry about because I start the process over again. I have been given the right tools (thanks to V4L and you wonderful people here) so I'm not worried :) Amazing how much confidence a safety net like that can give me :)

Thanks for starting this most fascinating thread Snowdragon. There are some great observations and advice here, that's for sure.

I might add one thing in that a total change in mindset is what really got me through. I became so enamored with, and I so embraced ecigs and the myriad ejuices available to experiment with, that I almost forgot that I was a smoker from the get go. When I did get the urge to go back to the smokes, I would remind myself that that would be that much less I could vape without getting a nicotine overdose. And the last thing I wanted to do was give up all these new exotic flavor treats. So that was it, these momentary urges would quickly pass as I continued to vape on.

May we all vape on and never look back.

The other upside is drinking all this water and liquid fills me up and i am not snacking ...I refuse to gain weight as people do when they quit smoking analogs !!! Im gonna be a vaping skinny B*&^% again !!!!!
It's not only the water filling you up. The fruit flavors also satisfy all my sweet cravings, that in turn keeps me from snacking. I've lost 7 lbs. since I started vaping & haven't changed my actual diet at all. Just less snacking. I love it !!
