Analog doesn't "scratch the itch", could vaping be working?

I know what you mean....I bought my first vaping kit 4 months ago...because my boyfriend quit and I didnt want to smoke around him...so I thought it would be a great alternative...but to my surprise...I LOVED vaping! I tried to smoke analogs the next day and to my surprise....I didnt want it...was like I could taste every single chemical in the analog! So I havent touched a single analog since...and I am more than satisfied with vaping! I wish you the best of luck! I know I feel better...and I most certainly smell better (no more ashtray smell for me!!!)

My first kit was an Inferno tankomizer, same thing as your basically. I had ten cigs left when I got it, I did smoke those ten cigs, but found it rather easy to replace them with the ecig. Ecigs do make qitting smoking a lot easier for many people, not everyone of course, but it's much more effective than the other alternatives. Yes, vaping could be, and sounds like it might be your answer, like many others here. Congrats:toast:

I wasn't planning on quitting - but within a week of getting a kit (Joyetech 510 sticks), I realized I no longer liked the taste of cigarettes and stopped. Haven't had or wanted one since, and I think it's been about 6 months...
Now you get to start playing with different juices and clearomizers and spending your evening reading ECF posts - woo-hoo!

I hope I have the same result...looking forward to it.

I'm only three days into vaping with an ego and I still light up, although my analog use has dropped from a pack to a pack and a half per day to maybe 4-6 cigs over the day. No, I don't particularly like them as much as vaping, but I'm still having issues regarding what to do with my hands between vapes. And still missing that lighting up ritual, etc. I might light up cause I'm afraid I'm going to wind up quitting them all together. But, I love vaping, even with the little ego starter I'm using. (Already looking forward to upgrading.) Some habits are difficult to break, ya know?

I kinda go back and forth. Sometimes one or the other doesn't satisfy me all the way. And I know this doesn't make any sense in reality because I'm getting nicotine both ways. I may not be getting as much nicotine vaping, but it's the only thing that satisfies me at times now.

The good thing is, I've gone from a pack a day to 4-6 cigs per day, depending on the situation. One day I only smoked twice, but that was a weird day.

The itch can be scratched very fast for some people. It worked like a charm for me from day one. After my 3rd or 4th disposables i never smoked another analog. While waiting for some more disposables to arrive, i went out and got a variable voltage kit and some fairly strong juice. I tasted a friends MB light analog after a week and thought it tasted really bad.

Im only about 15 days smokeless now but i have no desire to go back. Now i think they stink and vapor taste better.

Lol pclarice... My dog is sad too! Switched from going out for a smoke every hour or two to waiting for him to HAVE to go!

Lol mine too except he figured if he wasn't gonna be going out every hour he'd start going inside i had to house train him again to let me know when he has to go

And as far as the itch I STILL HAVE IT, i want to have a cigarette every now and then but these damn vaping juices ruined my taste for cigarettes. Pretty bad having a craving i can't satisfy, luckily they only last a minute or so and as long as i got my PV im alright

I had the same thing happen. I only quit smoking on July 30th, 2013 - had a few analogs left and smoked them and decided that was it. They tasted nasty and smelled even worse. I had planned on "weaning off" slowly, but it was not necessary. Haven't had one since, and can say I don't miss them at all. It's been great for me - and I too, had no real desire to quit smoking, because I really enjoyed it. I am very thankful for ecigs though - I don't cough, car smells better, no phlegm, no burns, no cigarette sticking to my lip and peeling off skin, so many positives it's hard to list them all. Have I saved money....heck no. I think I need Vapers Anonymous at this point....buying so much stuff, it's crazy....spending so much time on computer searching and reading and learning - because there sure is a lot to know about all the accessories.....I guess this too shall pass, and then I will have a degree in Vaping! Anyway, if you don't miss the analogs, and don't really want them, it's time to let them go.
