the way i see it they're still cancer sticks, but also tar sticks i've been starting to see crop up too.
An analog is a regular traditional cigarette. The ones we use to smoke before we got into vaping =)
Using the term "analog" to describe cigarettes is dumb, and the goober who came up with the idea should be kicked in the ding-ding. I refuse to play along.

Actually I have to disagree with you on your representation of Analog vs Digital. By definition, a Digital signal is a series of 1's and 0's or On's (1's) and Off's (0's)
Just think of the Old Indian form of communication, Smoke Signals. It is a Digital form of communication using an Analog device. Just like Light Signals on board a ship.
Thus vaping is Digital in that they are either on or off. But old Cig's are analog as they are always on but with varying degrees of amplitude between taking a drag or sitting idle.

NOW, analog makes sense. I was thinking to myself, "why the ....... would they name a cigarette a pseudonym like "analog". I guess we are in the "DIGITAL" age.
