How long did it take you to drop analogs fully?

I started on 12mg juice, it wasn't enough to keep me off analogs. Once I switched to 24mg, the urge went away....unless I was around people who were smoking analogs. After about 2 months though, the urge went away completely, even when I was around people smoking analogs. Actually, my sister came over the other day (she still smokes analogs) and she had obviously smoked one right before she walked through my door, the smell was just hanging on her. It actually made me sick to my stomach. Sooo, it will happen, give it time, stay strong - and find a nic level that works for you.

It took me about a year to drop the analogs for good. I was vaping on and off for a while and then I had kids. I figured it was time to get off of the analogs for good at that point. I still cheated a bit here and there...mostly when I was with the boys at our bi-weekly poker game. But now I'm vaping 24mg and I haven't looked back in about 2 years. And to celebrate, I just bought myself a bunch of new kit. I'll post pics when I get it all in the mail tomorrow. :)

I'm still working on it. If you're having a bit of trouble cutting out the analogs like I do, don't fret! I asked a question in the New Members Forum "advice from those who quit gradually" and got some brilliant advice and support. I'm still smoking about 6 analogs a day - but as I was at a pad and had no intention of quitting at the time I started vaping, I still see it as a great step forward. I moved up my nicotine level and and awaiting a VV battery per members' suggestions to see if they will do the trick. I'm very hopeful that it will happen ....Actually ...it darn well BETTER work because all the vaping toys I have bought, PLUS analogs, is WAY too expensive! Somethin's gotta give and it ain't gonna be my toys! HAH! lolololol

I haven't had a analog since I got my kit but that doesn't mean I don't crave them. I've been vaping for over a month and I still have my last pack of cigarettes with 2 in it that I haven't touched. I had strong support from my friends and my SO plus lots of willpower. I don't think I'll ever go back but I still think about lighting up. It's funny because when I go into the gas station to pay for gas I always ask for a pack of cigarettes then I remember I DON'T SMOKE ANYMORE!

I bought a kit , threw out the analogs, lighters and ashtrays and told myself I could not smoke but I COULD vape. I haven't touched an analog since. I also psyched myself out about how bad they would taste if I did. I have craved a real cig one time, until I smelled the smoke of one. Then I remembered why I quit and started vaping.

I have not craved an analog since I first picked up my Ego kit from Cropduster901's brick and mortar. I thought I would not only kick my analog habit but also save some money by switching. Well I kicked my habit but now have a habit of trying new juices carto's, clearo's and anything else I can get my hands on. More money spent, but money well spent.

I quit analogs 5 days before my first e cig. I was on patches and ready to climb the walls. I'd been smoking 40-50 a day. First e cig was a super mini - tiny over-priced thing from Hydro. It was all my corner store had but it got me through. Not too long later I got a Greensmoke kit. Couldn't stay on the patches as I got a rash so the e cigs did it for me. Greensmoke are way too expensive, but got me through the next 3 months. In the last three and a half months I've only craved cigarettes during those first couple of weeks and later during one awful week at work. I vaped a lot that week. I've ordered some Volts and plan to get a Volt X2 as well. I enjoy vaping, and don't really like the smell of analogs anymore, or the thought of sending burnt tar into my lungs.
