Just wanted to pipe in and say hi, introduce myself, and then go hide back under my bridge... A friend of mine told me a bit about PV's, and instantly my curiosity hit. I've been trying to quit for over 2 months now, but the situations in my life, and the stress I'm under have denied me that. Besides, in all reality i don't WANT to quit. I LOVE smoking. I always have. I love the people (even if we do stink), I love the action, but I HATE feeling like I do. And I seriously hate the costs. Not to mention, being in Minnesota, and banned to the outside, well, it get's a little cold out here. In my research on PV's, I stumbled across this site, and after reading all the amazing info on here, and looking around a bit I ordered the usual newb kit, a Joye 510 (which I'm anxiously waiting for the postman to bring to me. Sheesh, what did they do? open it up and try it themselves? I'm 6 hours from my shipper!!!) Anyhow, thanks everyone, for the great information. and, uh, Hi Now I'm going to go lurk under my bridge again.

Welcome. I agree with the others...Don't go under the bridge. Being interactive on this forum has helped me tremendously in buying product and leaving cigarettes behind. I understand what you mean when you say I love the people (smokers). This vaping thing has a very interesting culture all it's own that I think you would enjoy being a part of. That's why I think you should have a voice in this crazy world of vaping! Enjoy...

Postman came, with a lovely package. This is very hard. All lights are now green, and I'm sooo excited to try it out. But everything says to wait 4 hours for the first charge... This is kind of cruel really. I think I'll go smoke an analog (hehehehe) and maybe it will be my last.

And under the bridge is kind of nice sometimes. But, I'm a night owl. I like the dark...

Hey, if you go "under the bridge" stop by and say hi. I'm near the bottom of Michigan's lower peninsula. People in the UP call us Trolls "cause we live "under the bridge".
Minnesota is a beautiful state. Spent 8 days canoeing around part of Boundry Waters once. One of my favorite wilderness areas. You guys elected a great Senator,.......... and a bat sh** crazy one too. I'll let you figure out which one I think is which

I love Minnesota. I miss Colorado mountains, but I absolutely adore it out here. I can't wait for camping grounds to open up, a lot of great places out here to go hide in the woods. I'll definantly say hi if I run into you though.

I love the woods. About 5 years ago I bought a nice little place nestled in the woods out here in the middle of nowhere. I've got one of the smallest pieces of property around here (just 5 acres) but I love it. I used to fall asleep listening to sirens and traffic but now I fall asleep to crickets and frogs and wake up to songbirds. Healing to the soul, I tell ya. Don't feel the urgent need to seek the wilderness as much anymore.

Give it a try and if you like it I would suggest that you stock up on some more juice and atties. I would also add that if you dont care for the taste of your juice try some different flavors and some other vendors.

In my own personal experience I found that some Juices that I tried when I first quit smoking I didnt care for, but I kept them. After about a month of not smoking I found that I actually enjoyed some of those juices that I found unpalatable at first. You will also find that tastes will differ from PG to VG based liquids, you will find something that works for you.

I too loved smoking but now prefer vaping! I tested myself by having a cigarette a few days after I was exclusively vaping. Vaping won hands down! I still have 1 1/2 packs stuffed away in a drawer but they don't tempt me at all. My house and car smell so much better and I feel great! (I'm sure I smell better too!)

Once I got the right equipment instead of the underpowered starter kit I first purchased it was so easy for me to walk away from cigarettes. My first kit was the Volcano (same as Blu I believe) and it just wasn't enough for me. I was a pack a day smoker for 35 + years.

I wish you great success! The forums are filled with wonderful supportive people as you have seen. I hop you don't stay under the bridge too long!
