Nice work, I love a clean build like that...good call on the eGo conn...I wish you could buy those, they make a good transition and allow you to use all the eGo stuff without an extender.

yep is a mini brass screw, voltage is set with a screwdrive, have a trimmer inside.one of image show the little hole where turn left-right the trimmer.
it`s was possible to make with digital potentiometer, but increase length of tube.
this tube have 125mm and 22 mm diameter.

Quigsworth - Madvapes used to carry an Ego style connector ( more like an adapter really ),
I'm sure someone else still carries them.

Jhonutz - Charging stacked batts "safely" has always been a big debate,
how did you do it?

i use a charging IC from linear tehnology, it`s for 8.4V. However this charger IC it`s a current regulator.Have a "safe" charging, trickle charge, when batt`s have around 4V each start trickle charge.At aproxim 4.2V each stop . Anyway if someday, somethink is wrong i have 2 protected battery, but i doubt of this scenario .Everythink was tested before mounted on tube.

unfortunately i don`t have any pictures with charger circuit.i can say only i made a round pcb, with smd components and a charger IC from linear tehnology.

the tube (outher casing) was make by an metalworker friend of mine. I made only electronics stuff from 0 and build all in tube.

Nice piece of work...I like the location of the USB conn, even though it may "look" a little awkward that'd work way better for your car/office desk than plugging it into the bottom...mind if I steal idea that one day?

why not, for this is forum, to inspire and to get help. Anyway because a clean work i put that connector and electronic PCB at the top of tube, that cap with electronics is removable from body.
