$7.19 K2 E-Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (3.5mL) - silver / 2.4ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

For the actual Raven - You might find a better price somewhere, but they have free-shipping. It takes 45mm cartos (XLs) :)

It's a little bit more that I would have, unless I were still living in Cali...

A bit too elaborate for these folks in TN...

Thanks for the info...fasttech is closed Oct.1 -6, holiday & I'm really hesitant about them these days. It's a deal at vapor beast as the only other one I found was $.99 less but I would have to pay shipping. I'm ready to order it but the pic shows a carto with a plated bottom & none of my hoard has that bottom. Any idea if just a plain carto would work? :confused:

The Raven Tank is a "BEAST" among boys.

* 510 connection
* Easy to fill and clean
* Unique atomizer/clearomizer desisgn
* Durable plastic tank
* Chrome body
* No burning or leaking
* Low resistance -1.8ohm-2.4ohm

Maybe it's me but what makes this tank so awesome considering it's plastic according to the Vapor Beast description?

I know - that's what has me a little concerned. I've been using the 'subs' from Mom & Pops & I just wore out the fill hole after using it for more then a year. I just wonder if the sub would look like wearing a formal long gown with tennis shoes & the Raven looks so ProVari...:facepalm:

It's pictured with a flanged carto, so that's what I suggest you use. Some of these tanks have a concave bit at the bottom for the flange to fit into and may leak without the flange. It might work with a flangeless, but no guarantees.

I threw away the carto it came with.
Now using a non flanged Boge LR XL on it with no leaking issues.
In fact I do so with all my carto tanks that have bottom caps designed for flanged carto. You just have to be a wee bit more careful with them.

I agree. It's not really awesome. It would be much better with a Pyrex tank.

But it is pretty.

Also , it's a better value compared to other 10$ plastic tanks. It's bigger and more blinghy.

I am quickly moving away from non-glass tanks. I'll see a tank that looks perfect..... get to the description..... see polycarbonate, plastic, etc. and I move on.

I'd love to find a glass tube for the Prive Special. It's a bummer for such a must have tank to have an acrylic tube.:unsure:

I use only glass myself.

So this is odd. Avid Vaper carries Kir Fanis tanks, but this one is called a Prive style tank - it's got a glass tube though.

Good to know! The only tanks I have with the groove in the bottom are cheap Smoktech knock-offs. They look like something you'd buy at the $ Store.

Prive is 19mm and offers glass. Prive Special is 22mm and does not.

I'm a 22mm hellaflush tank ...... Haven't you noticed my obsession with snatching up every and all beauty rings available?

So far:
KirF SS and Brass
Loki SS
Cingulum Compleo SS and Brass
Hippo brass (working on it)

And I intend to source a local jeweler to see what kind of things I can do in terms of engraved art or even custom made rings.

So I decided since I've been having a vape of a good time with my ProVari / Trident, I'd give cartos another shot.
After all, cartos were part of the reason I've spent so much money trying to find what works for me.
Everything I've put on the ProVari has been stellar and whatdayaknow......

I still detest cartos.

I'm vaping Ahlusion's Mango Lassi 70PG/30VG/12MG 1.6Ω 3.5-4.0V and it taste like dust!
Oh well......grabs syringe.....no need to waste good juice.

Hahaha. Looks like your filling up a cart on ProVape in the background.

I'm surprised to hear that the DCT is no good in your opinion. I love em. Was it primed fully? Or are you saying it made your juice tast like dust? I get huge full flavored clouds with mine.

Hahahaa!! Nothing else in the cart.........yet. :D

And yes...cartos were fully primed and I couldn't taste any juice.
I may as well been vaping filler.
As soon as I switched back to my RBA all was good again.
I've got another box of cartos from a different vendor unopened around here somewhere.
I'll try those when I get some time.

It's been 11 days and I've been strictly using my mini but now I want something else--not in place of the mini but an addition.
So now I'm checking out the Reo.

I'm curious- what box mod is comparable to the Reo?

There are box mods, which are just mods that are box shaped, then there are bottom-feeder box mods like the Reo. The Reo is like the ProVari of bottom-feeders: well-made, super durable, made in the US and has a devoted following (Reonauts) ready to answer any questions you might have.

The only other bottom-feeders I see mentioned with any frequency are the VMod and the Bogger Box. There are more around, but you have to look for them and they can get pricy. It's more of a niche market at the moment and some of the really cool ones are made in Europe. I actually prefer my Phidias to my Reo, but Infanta is made of wood, so too delicate to throw around. That's why I ended up with a Reo. I love the Reo, I haven't found any faults and she's built like a little truck (her name is Tonka), I just like the feel of wood better.

Bad has a VMod, so hopefully he will chime in. There are so many VMod vs. Reo threads that it got me wondering if should really be called a "VaMod." I didn't read up too much on the VMod because is has this cone thingy that looks like it has to be removed when changing attys and I didn't want to deal with that. I was turned off by The Bogger Box because of it's shape. The ones I've seen are thick and square-ish and looked like they'd be uncomfortable in my hand.

I rather like the VMod. I couldn't afford a Reo. Since I wanted to try a bottom feeder mod I decided to give the VMod a try. I purchased mine with one of the weekly coupon codes that Vapage offers in their newsletters (sometimes up to 50% off codes) and used the savings for one of the optional body cases (simulated wood-grain).

There was a learning curve involved learning to "squonk" to get the appropriate amount of juice to get to the atty. The inner tank holds 9 ml of juice, and the AW 18650 IMR lasts up to 2 days. It's one of my favored mods to bring when I leave the house.

It does utilize a cone connector thingy that needs to be removed to change an atty or refill the tank. It needs to be kept snug tight or there could be minor leaking from the drip well that the atty sits in.

There's a smaller model (VMod-V2) that uses a 14500 battery and has a 4 ml tank.

You don't actually "squonk" the same way as with a Reo, if I'm not mistaken. Isn't the VMod a "gravity feeder" like the Phidias? No big deal, unless you are me and forget which one you grabbed and squonked instead of gravitied or gravitied instead of squonked or whatever and caused a butterfly in Borneo to flap it's wings.
