I just wanted to say that I told my doctor (my PCP is a cardiologist) that I quit smoking and started vaping. He was floored! And happy! He didn't have one bad thing to say about my e-cig.

Of course, he's been after me for years to kick the butts.

He turned to my hubby and said, "You next!"

Awesome! Mine loved that I switched as well. In fact, he suggested it months before I switched, and I dismissed him then because I didn't know anything existed other then overpriced cigalikes like Blu. My mother wound up buying me an ego set up, and that worked great!

I went last week and my blood pressure was down to 100/70. When I was smoking it was 140/95 even with Lisinopril (10mg)
and when I told him I quit taking the Lisinopril ( I was getting light headed too often) he was a tad upset since I didnt talk to him about it but still pleased that my BP was at that level without meds...

So glad to hear that your doctor is pleased with your switch to e-cigs. More doctors need to be educated on how much health improves when smokers switch to them. I have an appt with my doctor mid-August for a checkup and will have been vaping for 7 mo by then, so I am curious to see how things are by then.

Wow! When you can ditch a med, that's really something! Good for you!

Last time I had my bp checked, it was 124/76 - pretty dang good for an old lady! And it was a really stressful day, so I was afraid it would be to the moon.
