My Doctor Appointment

Hi all just wanted to relate by experience at my Doctors office. Well it went very well, except the additional test I need to get but that's another matter. Anyways I'm in a waiting room when he steps in, and says how are you I reply I'll let u be the judge of that lol he says I guess I better earn my keep then he's very hip.

So I tell him I have good and bad news the bad I won't mention here as its personal, so I tell him the good news, I say I've quit smoking cigarettes as of 7 weeks ago now, and he replies that's great. I push on to I push on to say that Vapeing is how I was able to quit, and he replies what's that? I say oh didn't realize u wouldn't have heard of this and I further mentioned its called E cigs. Then he says oh ok I've another patient who has mentioned this and he was sorry he didn't know the term vaping I said that's ok u should google ECF and check out this miracle.

He shook my hand and grabbed my chart he said I'm changing your status to NON SMOKER, I said tyvm, he continued by saying he was very happy for me and I answered a few questions for him and he seemed thrilled. This made me additionally happy to hear.

Now on my next appointment I'll see if he does indeed check into Vapeing a bit more.

To end this story, I didn't need his approval etc, but it's also good to hear. Congrats to myself I'm officially a NON SMOKER.

It's good to know all doctors aren't jerks! I've seen a couple of stories on here about doctors who have no knowledge of vaping beat down their patient after they tell them they've switched to ecigs. My doctor was so happy when I told her! I had to go back to my doc yesterday for a follow up visit & she asked how vaping was going now that I was a couple of months in. She has a family member who used them to quit & she's super supportive of me vaping! to good doctors!

I saw my rheumatologist last week and he is thrilled. My blood pressure is 110/70 for the first time in years. And the bonus of removing tobacco ( a nightshade) from my system has improved my arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have 163 days with no analogs!!!!

Congrats! Make sure to check your blood pressure over the next few months and adjust your nic level accordingly.

I was using too high a juice at first, and it spiked my BP something fierce.
