Means vapers are going to have wrists like 'Popeye the Sailorman' .
Disposable lighters are considered childproof because it takes some more pressure than a child could exert to fire it up
So, gents and gentesses, start hitting the gyms ;)
Waiting for the first clip to crop up on yt : ''Provari power punch made easy'' or ''Bodybuilding with you BCC''

Sarcasms aside, sometimes it's a pity that we've become civilized. In another place and another time, we'd start boiling tar and plucking chicken....

Thanks Orb Skewer for the latest News.

Now it happened:
I just ordered 2 litres of 36 mg/ml nicotine bases. "Panic buying" if you will. And believe me, I hit that damn "buy"-Button with hate and wrath. Never in my life before I was (indirectly) coerced to buy a product...

Referring to childproof products:
These arguments are rubbish and absurd. There are tons of dangerous products out there that can be opened or operated by children:
- shiny bright "clip-ons" (toilet cleaners) smelling of fresh oranges
- coffee makers with hot steam nozzles
- kitchen knifes, scissors, etc.
...... and literally *thousands* of other things clearly more dangerous than e-cigs.

I am NOT proud to be a citizen of the European Union. I am deeply ashamed.

I have a suggestion ... use their own words against them. Go out and buy some 3 1/2" X 5" Index cards. Write the following on the cards:

“This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance. It is not recommended for use by non-smokers.”

and start placing them in the vegetable section of your local supermarket!!

I have a feeling the 'negotiations' and the TPD process (to include e-cigs) are going to be re scheduled until after the holidays-and into the new year.

#EP #Trilogue #Tobacco Total deadlock in discussions. Council now proposes to ban the #ecig beyond 5mg nicotine/ml.

If this were the case, would the EU presidency have changed over (to Greece, I believe)?

Yes,
Greece will have the EU presidency from January 1, 2014 until June 30, 2014, lead by Evangelos Venizelos. Venizelos is member of the PASOK-party, the greek socialists. I don't know how the socialists are politically connected to the tobacco lobby, but I'll find out...
Is there a greek ECF-member to bring some light into this topic??

followed by
Italy, from July 1, 2014 until December 31, 2014.

A quick search shows that Greece is a tobacco-producing country, w/ particular ties to Phillip Morris Int'l. Several articles commented that a Greek EU president would likely favor a weakened TPD.

We were told the same about the Lithuanian presidency, that they would be week on tobacco control because of the Big tobacco investment in Lithuania. Turned out that they are the biggest opponents of anything but a cigalike. color me surprised. We may think BT are on our side but make no mistake BT are only interested in controlling the ecig market with the highest margin product they can produce.
Can't blame them, millions to lose, same for big pharma but that the health bodies and governments who are supposed to represent our interests would fall into line so easily is disgusting. They should have put up some semblance of pretense at least.
