EU And the screw tightens.

I'm not at all politically minded, all I know is they want to take our PV's away in the form they are and that can't be allowed so, if someone could be kind enough to explain to me whether this is all just proposed or has a decision actually been made today that effects us?

As far as I can gather from twitter the press conference today announced a stalemate. Or in political speak;

Looks like the MEP's held fast and the whole thing will be run round again. Duno if this is good or bad news but it shows that the whole TPD is being delayed by ecigs and might lead to getting them removed and legislated separably. We can hope but it looks like a long fight ahead. And here I was hoping for this to go away once and for all.
As an aside, if the EU postpone regulating ecigs till next year what will the FDA do? they seem to have been biding their time to see how the EU decision went.
