So, if I understand correctly, (and there's a distinct possibility I do not) the Kanger Evods we're getting have an eGo battery which means tanks I see with 510 connections won't be able to be used on this battery. I have to make sure to tanks that say eGo? Do I have all that right? LOL.

Your batteries should take both 510 and eGo threaded tanks/clearomisers.

Ego batteries, typically have both connections. The larger outside threads for ego (evods) and the smalker inside threads for tanks like the Protank II (510). Item descriptions usually say "Ego threading" or "510 Connection" Both should work.

Yeah, but there are beauty rings/thread covers that can help make the connection look smoother and nicer.
Everything that has the same threading will go together and work.

most all - some of the larger tanks include a trim ring that transitions it down to the battery smoothly

This is where the "beauty ring" or "plinth" comes into action..

Most regular eGo batteries have both threads. (Unless they use neither....)

It depends. For batteries like 18500s there's a universal battery charger you can buy, whereas some other batteries have their own specific chargers. Passthroughs use a USB and you can vape on them while they charge and some batteries you screw into a USB charger.

My Evod comes with a USB charger (with wall adapter) that apparently the battery screws onto and then you plug it in to adapter or usb port.

I think those types of chargers only work with their specific batteries, not 100% sure though as I don't have any experience with them lol

That charger that comes with is called an Ego charger- don't use it with cig-alike or anything else but Egos.

Clean the juice off the battery and charger where they connect and don't overtighten- just snug.

Thanks again. I'm sure I'll figure out some of this more easily once I actually have the equipment. I'm just trying to lessen my learning curve as much as I can And my hubby will no doubt be counting on me for the answers as he is less "tech-y" than I.
