I enjoy vaping my GGTS/AVS while sitting in my recliner and can't help thinking that a longer, angled tip that compensates for the more horizontal position and also prevents the GGTS from hitting my chin would make for a more comfortable vaping experience. It would also allow / ease it's use while laying "propped up" in bed.

Anybody feel the same way? Or is there maybe something similar already available that I don't know about?

I would recommend a cheap and simple but not to pretty solution..Just get some medical grade tubing simply slide one end over your mouthpiece and put a regular atty cap(you'll have to put a hole through the center of the atty cap) or drip tip in the tube from the end youll be hitting...I have a whip from my Arizer extreme Q and i took some tubing from it and tried it and it works fine and accomplishes exactly what you want if im understanding you right.

I am working on a design for this that will be in GG style. If it works Like I am thinking, the angle will be completely adjustable. You will be able to lock (tighten it) it in the position of your choosing. I will post the results here if it works like I m thinking.

Lol, hope I don't fall on my face with this ;)

Great idea CG89... Being somewhat of a "motorhead", I'm giving serious thought to rubber tubing covered with a braided sleeve. I used (stainless steel) braided sleeving to dress up and protect the wires and hoses of the "toys" I owned in my younger days. Here's a link showing some sleeving that can be used to dress things up:

This is a very crude representation of what I was thinking. Bare in mind it is 4am here ;) But it may have possibilities or something similar.

Great idea Zoranth. It has all the bases covered alright... Let me know how things progress. Your project definitely looks like something I would be very interested in...

In the meantime, I was thinking about building on CG89s' suggestion: Use flexible tubing. I thought I could dress up the tubing with a flexible braided sleeve. I posted a link to what I'm talking about in my reply to CG89.

Maybe I could just attach a short length of braided tubing to a drip tip and hook that assembly up to my original GGTS tip (possibly using heat shrink tubing). I currently have the stock black plastic GGTS tip and this is the perfect excuse for needing to step up to the shiny Stainless Steel one.:D:vapor::D:vapor:

I think that's a good idea. It would make it look a lot better and still rather cheap to make. You'll probably pay more in shipping than for the material used...lol

Mauvemarauder....That's the big challange with the AVS. Wish I had something to offer as an idea for that. Zoranth has a great idea! I can't help but wonder about a metal flex tubing like the one shown with one end threaded to fit the mouthpiece cap and the other with a drip tip configuration mouthpiece. Probably be pricey to make, but I think it would work. :smokie:
