It's great to see all the people that have adopted or saved their animals! My group also helps dogs in need but I am the cat guy :) Here are some more pictures of the cats that have gone home in the last year.

Really enjoyed all the kitty pictures Ed! :) I especially love your Newman kitty in the sink! :D So glad you are able to work with your local rescue to help all these fur-kids. I am a dog groomer by trade, and I volunteer on Mondays at the local shelter here. It's usually my favorite day of the week... even though I don't earn "e-cig money" that day ;) -- I do always come home with the satisfaction of knowing that I've helped these dogs to feel better, -- and to (hopefully) find their new families even quicker, after a bath or a total makeover!

Every day I visit this site - http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/...3&link=ctg_ars_home_from_ths_thankyou_sitenav
If you click the button you donate a bowl of food to animals in need. I thought at first it was a scam or something and not worth the time and had a little read around about it. I found that it's probably genuine, they are a real charity and clicks most likely do what they say. So if you can be bothered, have a click a day and feed a hungry soul.

Kate, thanks for the link to click, I'm adding it to favorites.

I have 4 cats at my condo and 1 cat at my "x"'s house. The last 4 out of 5 were homeless. Two of them I happened upon and two I adopted. Only our first kitty was store bought because she looked so scrawney and sick. To date, at 15+ yrs., she's still the smallest of the bunch. I'd be lost without my kitties.

And, for anyone looking for cheap cat condos I've always gotten great service from Cat Furniture, Cat tree, Dog Bed, Cat Bed by Armarkat USA Site My 1st cat condo has lasted 3 yrs and I only, now, just had to order two replacement parts (a leg and a top deck); I also, ordered another model like mine in the premium line. The faux fur has lasted like new on all but the top tray which is used by all 4 cats, and one of them decided to claw a hole in one of the corners which is what made it so it had to be replaced. Not the cats fault, it was prolly from my occassional aversion to clipping their claws.

This one was homeless and just decided he wanted to move in with us. He was very persistent! I think someone just dumped him  He likes sitting on my keyboard and knocking over my stuff...

This one isn't a stray and is actually one of my neighbours, but it feels like he lives with us half the time..

Good work BTW Ed. Its good there are people like you about!

Both my dogs are rescued, one of them had a cigarette burn on his back when I found him. I rescued three kittens in jr.high and found a home for them, and I rescued two kittens in high school and talked my grandmother into taking them after a few weeks. They were so cute and tiny. I would carry them around everywhere with me, one in each jacket pocket. I brought them to school without anyone realizing, and I brought them out at night, and I let them sleep in my bed, despite having bad allergies. Also my fiance's cat was from a litter of kittens rescued by a friend of mine. One of the most painful experiences of my life happened when I rescued a rabbit. Someone got rid of a bunch of pregnant rabbits they had and let them loose in our neighborhood in the winter. I rescued one and the next day she had given birth to a about 18 baby bunnies, and 2 of them were dead when they came out. One by one I started losing them. They were all getting milk from the mother and I kept them all warn but something happened that I still don't understand to this day. Just typing about it is making my eyes go cloudy. That's the worst feeling to be in a situation like that where there's nothing you can do. These little tiny bunnies the size of eggs, one by one going cold. ****, I have to stop now

I have been involved with dogs and cats my whole life. As of now I'm a canine behavior therapist. I work with dogs alllll day longggg.I work closely with all the local rescue groups. Mostly the foster parents.

I have three rescue Rat Terriers (hence my avatar and name, Ratpack). They were all a mess when I got them.

I am also the Home Visit Coordinator for the Rat Terrier rescue group.

Just love them doggies!!
