Starting to see a trend in rba's and mechanical mod to the point that I don't even want any more any more. I will be selling everything I have and just go buy a reo grand and call it quits on everything else . It just seems to set the tone for vape, taste and squonking -__-it makes me sad that I see everything from mechanical mod and rba starting to look alike :/ I'll be heading to reoville soon ,hope to end this journey for all...

You're making the right decision.

I've had my Reo Grand for a few months now and I got curious about mech mods and dripping, so I dropped $250 on a legit mod and got myself an Omega clone RBA....

I run dual micro coils + cotton on my Reo at .6 ohms.

My Omega is .4 ohms, same dual coil/cotton setup...

I get a WAY better vape out of my Reo and zero hassle....the vape out of my mech is good, but .... its nothing like my Reo!

We'll be here in Reoville when you need us, rith.

Like you, I arrived at the Reo as an end state after high end regulated devices and mech mods. It's simply the best combination of convenience, durability, and performance.

You say you don't want any more, just a reo. Just be prepared - once you have one, you will want more of them.

I had one, (a Reo), it's pretty good but juices or whatnot started to mess with the plastic button. It became more and more of a "grungy" push. After the 510 connection snapped off I looked at the $150 to replace it and figured I would just go with a cheaper mech.

I might go back later but right now I'm happy with my Nemesis clone and KFL+ clone.

Maybe the Chinese should clone the Reo.

Can any of you reo guys tell me whats up with this mod... I find it so ugly that I dont even read about it.

Yeah, I had an 'ugly' reaction too - until I bought one. I have plenty of mods that look good in my hand, but don't perform. The REO sits nice in my hand and actually looks and feels a lot better than I thought it would.

When I throw my REO in my pocket ready for a 17 hour day at work, I know it's not going to let me down, I know it's got enough juice to last and I know that if I drop it, I can pick it up and vape it. (of course, the atty may snap off in the 510 connector, and for that reason alone I do carry another mod and topper)

I'm not going to say the REO with an RM2 atty is the be all and end all of vaping, but I am going to say that since I got it, all of my other mods, APVs, RDA's and other toppers are in my vape drawer - except for my VMOD.

So there ya go, I have one 'ugly' mod and another even uglier mod as its backup.

If you get a chance to hold one and use one for a bit, you may change your mind. You may not - and that's fine too. I found my happy vape place with a REO, but I understand if others don't.

If the Chinese clone the Reo it would be called a Cheo. I like how that sounds.

Seriously, the best vaping tool I have ever used was a Silver Bullet. Still have it and use it to drip and test juices. Nothing beats that button. I know they now have a mechanical Silver Bullet, but the width is a bit much. Maybe a Poldiac is in my future.

I don't care if mechanicals and RBAs are trendy or look like one another. I just want a few good pieces of gear that produce vapor when I press a button. That's what I got, and that's what I'm happy with.

... a quick glance in the general direction of my mods and atties currently collecting dust usually culls any desire for new gear. Spring is coming and I'd rather put the "fun" money towards maintaining my RC heli hobby and doing some fixing on my ol' moms cabin. Such a nice little place, and it tears me up to watch it decay.
