Another £30 gone today

Day 5, and it's getting a bit expensive now!
I found out today, one of my Riva batteries stopped working, I had only charged it once! so I have had to order a new one from UK while I send this one back to China. I am getting a bit worried about how reliable these batteries are, hopefully it is just a one off!
On the plus side, still no craving for a ciggie, and I got some juices today from Vapeescape, which I really like, They are the first wih PG in (50/50 mix with VG) I had only had VG juices from China, which are OK but now I know how good they can taste!,
All rigged up now with Cartomisers, drip tips, juices etc, hopefully will last a while, I don't intend spending any more for a bit!
I also go a dual coil cart, to try, which is great, but the cone of the Riva does not fit over, are these not meant for a Riva?

I wouldn't try forcing it. I just tried one of these cartos on my Riva and you are right. The cone doesn't go over them. The cartos are a little fatter then others. You can still use the cartos on the Riva but without the cone. Just be careful because it doesn't take much to loosen the plastic tubes at the base if they get wriggled too much. I have a black cone that I got somewhere, can remember, but they do fit over these cartos.

Did you buy at Liberty-Flights.co.uk? They have a warranty on batteries in their US shop - if you bought in their UK shop did you check if they have a warranty?

And sometimes the center post of the battery just gets pushed in too far and is not making electrical contact with your atty or carto. This can be caused by screwing the Riva further than necessary onto the charger. Or by certain brands of cartos that have a very long threaded part. You may have been able to life the center post if this was the problem.

Also double check inside the charger with a twisted up tissue and make sure there is no liquid in there. And always wipe the threaded end of the battery dry (including the circular valley around the post of the battery) before putting it in the charger.

I love my Riva 510 (and re post above, I was discussing Riva 510 - I don't know if the Riva 901 center post can get pressed in too far).

Riva 901 cone is shorter and supposedly has a slightly wider opening and fit on my Riva 510 over Boge cartos. Liberty-Flights.co.uk might sell Riva 901 cones individually. I got my cone in their US shop (and then decided I didn't even way to both with cones - like the look of the brass (or chrome on the Riva 510 SE)

Thanks Dormouse, It is a Riva 510 and everything looks perfect, there is no blue light when you press, so It may be a button problem.
It came from EastMall China. I bought most of my stuff, before finding this forum, unfortunately! including a couple of super mini type ones, which are fine for back-ups, and leaving in the car!
