E-Cigs May Not Be So Safe After All
https://atlantablackstar.com/2015/07/14/e-cigs-may-not-be-so-safe-after-all/
The incidences of respiratory and cardiovascular issues linked to electronic cigarettes also increased between March 2013 and March 2014.
They don't say where they get their information regarding respiratory and cardiovascular issues being linked to electronic cigarettes, or what issues.
Due to the abundance of research studies citing the dangers of electronic cigarettes, e-cigs may not make a huge difference in improving the health, or reducing the health risks, of those who use them.
They don't say how in the world research studies can cause e-cigs to be ineffective. (By scaring away smokers, maybe, or by turning up the temp until they catch fire?)
The American Cancer Society states that nicotine replacement and medications can serve as effective ways to stop smoking. However, these are only to be used as transitional tools, and work differently for each individual. Other approved methods to stop smoking include acupuncture, taking herbs and supplements and utilizing magnet therapy.
It looks like the author of the article probably looked at this page from ACS, read the bold type, and skipped the rest of the text:

I don't wish to mislead anybody - this stuff isn't the only bogus info in the article. However, the article does present evidence suggesting misinformation might be contageous:

Also there seems to be the implication that in order to quit smoking, one MUST use an "approved" method -- as if I need anybody's approval for ANYTHING I do! What total fascists, and what sort of ninnies read this crap and fall for it???
