Reynolds submitted a 119-document to the Food and Drug Administration arguing to ban "open system" vaporizers and flavored products, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.

That is just CRAZY ...119 pages ...they must have really good spin doctors on payroll !!

I can't even come up with 119 BS reasons that I have read/heard

Oh & HI YA' BAD ...hope things are lookin' up for you !

I read this today and was amazed at the gall RJR and BT has. The Vuse by RJR is lousy and quite honestly open vaping has what helped me stop smoking. Using a cigalike I ended up going back to smoking.

We have tried every product out there by all big tobaccos and they do truly stink, the vuse has a wobbly carto and dry hit with bad juice, blue is horrible, njoy was good at first but they destroyed it with the changes they made, and the rest of the disposables or rechargeable batts with cartos out there are pretty much all the same, they all are but big tobacco don't care since the purpose of them is to not switch people over but for them to control that market and kill it, people will get frustrated and go right back to their favorite smoke. Dan and I bought so many stick styles that are available and while some have good batteries, they all use filler cartos and we still haven't found any except maybe 1 that had vapable juice in them to make us want more. These are multi million dollar companies yet none of them did taste tests with their juice and many of them who claim they are using the newest technology are simply lying and using sales gimmicks to push the product. The big tobaccos companies don't mind spending millions on adding chemicals to their analog cigs but now are worrying about the safety of ecigs , that's total BS. I do believe cig like ecigs do have a place, they make the switch easier, its much more similar to a regular cig but the options that are available in retail just aren't that good and the juice they use is mostly awful.

I find it kind of sickening that they are trying to separate vaping and ecigs when they are one in the same, the main reason why more seasoned vapors use all other devices versus stick styles is because of battery life, the power not being up to snuff and that most cartos are filler and there isn't a true cartomizer that hold tons of juice and works as flawlessly as a filler carto. If a stick style would last 2 to 3 times longer, produces as much vapor as a mod and had a carto that is all juice and works perfectly every time flawlessly with no dry spots ever then i think they would be embraced more then they are by the majority of the community.

The "Big Tobacco" companies are not to be trusted and certainly do not have our best interest in mind! They have proven time and time again that our safety is no concern of theirs. They add more and more nicotine and dangerous chemicals to cigarettes. They then testify (purger themselves) before congress, stating that nicotine is non addictive and that cigarettes have no link to cancer! Now they're creating a bogus smear campaign while they position themselves to take over the e cigarette industry here in the USA and beyond.

A friend of mine told me that a representative from Newport Cigarettes (Lorillard/RJ Reynolds) was in his shop giving away samples of disposable e cigarettes. He was also giving away blister pack eGo kits, complete with a CE5, charger and a sample of e liquid. I thought that was curious since refillable e cigs are the very thing that they're trying to have banned! They also claim that flavored e liquids target children while they themselves (Lorillard) lost a 151 million dollar court case in 2010 for passing out "samples" to young children in Boston back in the 1950's! The plaintiff died of cancer before it went to trial. She was nine years old when she first received these "samples"! These people have no morals and this is simply another way for "Big Tobacco" to stay in control!

The big tobacco corporations are among the most powerful industries on the planet. They have their hands deep in the pockets of officials in every branch of the government as well as the very agencies that are suppose to regulate them! This is a difficult battle and will not be easy to win. We must remain vigilant!
