Nail, meet hammer. They hit all the FDA bullet points when they designed the Vuse: it calls itself a tobacco product, only comes in tobacco flavors, only comes in one nicotine level (not listed on package), delivers the fabled "precise dose of nicotine," and the cartos are tamper-proof (more or less). They could probably get it approved as an NRT if they had to go that route.

No One said that RJR is Not Smart. At least, I have Never said that.

And Doesn't Plan Ahead.

It would be helpful if folks would post comments on already existing threads than create new threads about the very same topic.

Three threads have already been discussing the comments by Lorillard, Altria and Reynolds urging the FDA to impose the deeming regulation (that would ban >99.9% of all e-cig products and give the e-cig industry to Big Tobacco) including comments by Altria and Reynolds to go even further by also banning open tank systems and e-liquid.

And during the past two years, many other ECF threads (mostly in the legislative news section) have pointed out that Altria and other large e-cig companies have been urging the FDA to protect their cigarettes and their inferior and more expensive cigalikes from market competition by open tank systems and e-liquid.

Also, the title of this thread of wrong, as no tobacco company is lobbying to ban vaping.
