To what end? I reserve my phones memory for pictures/vids of friends and family.

Because in the over two years I have been on ECF reading all the various posts
about bad vaping behavior I have never seen one single picture of said bad vaping
behavior aside from some shops with slopping mixing facilities.
It dawned on me recently that considering most cell phones have camera's why
isn't bad vaping behavior being visually documented as with every other aspect of
society ad nauseam.
I am not outing any post in particular. Its some thing I have noticed and it gets my
skeptical side tingling.

It seems to me to be pretty tame fare.
Of course there might be some privacy issue or NSFW and chillin' thing.

You do know " most of what's posted on the internet" IS objectionable and not allowed on ECF.

Just because it's out there, or because someone else does it, doesn't make it right.

But I think you already know this.

And I still think that anyone who says "I don't care" about herpes, already has it.

Oh. I see now. Some one thought I was trolling. I was just venting to a group of people that share at least one of my interests.

I don't have a problem with shops. I don't have time to make stuff up. Besides, reality offers plenty of content.

I'm actually sorry that I posted this thread. Don't see any reason for it to remain open.

There is a smoke shop sort of close (~ 25 miles) that sells mostly cigarettes. In fact, that's usually the store I got mine from when I smoked. There is a 'vape section' there also, and if one of the employees can't answer a vape question, he or she will ask one of the other people that work there. That's where I got a CE4 startup kit. Now there's a dedicated vape shop about 30 or so miles away. I was there when it first opened, and I liked talking with the kid that owns it. He's fairly 'vape educated' and he sells mostly premium 30PG/70VG juices. He does have some hardware there as well. Since I DIY now, I won't be going there to make any purchases. He is going to setup a coffee bar though..

To further clarify... I understand that a B&M store has overhead. Rent, utilities, paid employees 8-12 hours a day 6-7 days a week. I am happy to pay more in person than online because I am generally impatient and I want it now... not in 3-5 days. Selling a subox kit that can be found for 50ish online for 115$ is an insane mark up... I simply wont pay it. There is a shop an hour from me that sells the istick 100 watt for a mere 50$... I honestly think they could charge 60$ and that would still be a reasonable mark up. I understand overhead... I do not accept outrageous price gouging.

As skoomy said in his post, $115 is probably not that much of a markup for a local B&M. If they're only stocking a handful of them, they are paying a lot closer to retail than an online store buying 100's or 1000's of them. Then factor in that additional overhead and they have to mark it up further in order to show any profit.

As for the rest of your post, I guess you've had different experiences with vape shops. The one I frequent has a reasonably knowlegeable staff. And honestly, I can get some stuff cheaper from them than online once shipping gets figured in. Definitely higher priced on their mods but they carry a lot of good "name brand" juices as well as their house blends.

I wouldn't be encouraged to shop at a place with the conditions you've described but I don't feel all B&M vape shops fall into that category either.
