Can I use any usb wall plug to charge my X2? Like the one for my nook, or my roommates's phone plug? I don't really use the usb cord for a passthrough, so I wouldn't be doing that. Are the wall plugs standard, like the usb plugs for a computer?

I don't know enough about electrical stuff, is what I'm sayin'.

mind you my son is IT, and he dug through all his and couldn't find any that strong,,,,,,,,,he said "mom, most electronics don't need more than 500 milliamps (1/2 an amp)",,,,,,,so not every device will work.

Awwww - did he say it patiently with an indulgent smile? I love when my kid knows something I don't - makes me feel like I did a good job lol

Sitting down, facing forward.
I've monitored the charge rate of five X2-650s and they really don't exceed 200ma during a normal charge cycle. Allowing for "headroom", extra capacity on the charge so it doesn't get overloaded, a 1.0 amp charger should work without a problem. The trick being that the wall charger HAS to maintain the 5 volts required under a load of at least 250ma to be effective.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.
