Another Chicago attempt to ban ecigs?

Hey guys, I received an email from Blu about an upcoming attempt by Chicago's city council to ban ecigs, again. Here's the email as a web page:

Apparently, Blu and the Big tobacco company that owns them don't want to see ecigs banned.

The City Council meeting is this monday 1/13/14, 11:30AM

Here's proof of Emaneul's crybaby/cheating tactics. THREE days warning, ONE business day. Alderman offices will have been open for less than 16 hours (if they are even open on Saturday) before it is in City Hall.

Filed on a Friday, in the Council Halls the following Monday. Disgusting.

Ah, yes, another "crisis" that needs an immediate, draconian rule, while people are shot and killed daily on Chicago streets, and nothing is done about it.

* is it even legal to push something through that fast in Chicago? Thought there would be a Reasonable waiting period for preparing opposing arguments.

Emails sent. I don't know if the loss of the $5000 the hubby and I spend annually in Chicago will matter one hoot to them but aside from telling my tale I did mention that should this pass the hubby and I will find another city to vacation in every year.

Yes, it is.

I would call Illinois the northernmost province of Nicaragua, except that would be insulting to the government of Nicaragua.

Needless to say, I've blanketed all the aldermen with emails. And I've signed to e-petition mentioned in the previous message.
