Let's have another contest and talk RY4 and 555. These are by far two of the most popular universal ejuice flavors. Maybe you like them, maybe you don't. Share your experiences with us and let us know what you think of the two flavors. 4 chances for 4 posts.

1: What flavor profile do you get out of a typical RY4.
2: What flavor profile do you get out of a typical 555.
3: Have you ever smoked a 555 cigarette? If so, does it taste anything like it's eliquid cousin?
4: Which do you prefer more. If neither, tell us what about these flavors makes you not want to vape them.

As always, random .org will select the winner, so make sure you spread your posts out. Contest will end Friday May 10, at the stroke of midnight.

The winner will receive a 30ml. bottle of Goodejuice eliquid your choice of flavor and nicotine strength.

Good Luck to everyone!!!!!

RY4 should contain caramel, vanilla and tobacco. If done right (like with GoodEJuice's GJ4) the final result is a sweetened tobacco flavor. The tobacco should be the main focus. The caramel vanilla blend can be anywhere from neutral to dessert-like. When done right, you will have a smooth flavor that satisfies.

Guess Ill start. Maybe I'll win:p

Ry4 to me is a caramel chocolate tobacco with a slight vanilla. Obviously there are many variations, but caramel has got to be the main ingredient. I wonder if when ruyan invented the flavor, the tobacco base was absolutely disgusting so the creator dumped some sweetness to it for tolerance:D Just a guess. Anyway, the only RY4 types I like are Naturally extracted and Whisper from eVo:)

Great idea for a contest, Nick -- thanks!

1. I agree with Hangdude -- the flavors (vanilla, caramel, and tobacco) should be balanced. I've had a few that claimed to be RY4s that tasted more like a dessert or candy of some sort than a tobacco. If any component tastes artificial to me, it's also a no-go. The two best I've had are yours (each flavor is well-balanced and tastes genuine) and Backwoods Brew's now extinct RY4 (the tobacco in it was really unique -- almost cigar-like, and more present than in most RY4s). I would even like one in which the tobacco was more upfront and the caramel and vanilla were whispers in the background.

From what I have experienced, there is no typical 555. Basically it is a nutty tobacco blend, but some vendors must not know what nuts taste like. My least favorite 555 tastes like peanut shells mixed with campfire smoke. The best have no sweetness, a good blend of nuts, and a bold but smooth tobacco.

I have pretty much given up on finding the perfect 555 (never tried any from GEJ). I like nutty tobacco blends, but I prefer there being a third flavor like chocolate or honey or vanilla or something.

Thanks GeJ for the contest!!

1.What flavor profile do I get out of a typical RY4?

Unfortunately, from the few dozen I have tried, I have found an overly sweetened slightly tobacco-ish flavor that ranges from unidentifiable blend of flavors to perfect balance of the trifecta (tobacco, vanilla, caramel) with little or mild throat hit.

HOWEVER...

What flavor profile do I get out of an IDEAL RY4? (for me): A nicely balanced turkish, burley, virginia or other identifiable NET(s) with slight sweetness, strong vanilla notes upfront and less strong, but still noticeable, caramel undertones, and a nice solid TH (for me anyway).

thehangdude is right on, as usual. RY4 should have a tobacco, carmel, vanilla mix. I am in the process of trying several RY4s, seems to have me hooked , and I prefer a tobacco balanced with carmel and vanilla. Not too strong of any of them, but I prefer the more tobacco RY4s.

What you just described is exactly the RY4 I loved. I use past tense because I have not been able to get it since shortly after I started vaping. Every single RY4 I have tried since, I hate. They all have the same smell and they are all disgustingly sweet. I have no idea what flavor they all use but I can't stand it. I don't even taste any caramel. It truly bums me out and I have gotten to the point I won't waste any more money trying anymore. But I don't think a day goes by that I don't miss it.

2. From my understanding, a 555 is supposed to be a tobacco rounded out with nutty undertones. I haven't given up on the concept, but I have yet to find one I like -- usually the nuttiness translates as something floral or earthy (but not in a good way), or the tobacco base is just no good to start with. I would be interested in an NET 555 for the House Brewed line -- I don't think I've seen anything like that.
