O.k I don't want to sound like I am whining all the time here but New Cartomizer was changed in the Smoketek DCT yesterday by people in the Brick and mortar store i go to.It was getting great vap till about 8:00 pm then the flavor diminished and was getting less vape,Couldn't use anymore. Then went back to store today it was replaced by yet another cartomizer and the same exact thing is happening again at same time,No more flavor and less vape,What is going on here???

As klynnn said there have been issues with cartos. I bought a carto tank, and I've been having issues, so I mostly use my Vivi Nova tanks instead. In fact I just ordered a new one and a Mini VN, and a Splitfire (since its been getting great reviews.) Wish I could help you out more, but I haven't used them much since I moved away from my 808 system.

100% VG in a carto is just too thick. In a DCT, the tiny punch in the side of the carto is just too small for the liquid to get in. Even with 2-3 holes it can have problems. If you must have VG only (or a high VG ratio) you can dilute the juice with a little distilled water to get the viscosity down. Vodka can also be used but I think distilled water works better.

you have cart. in tank? i dont think all your carts are dead. can you take cart out of tank-off your batt. also? blow it out on towel. try it on your batt. without the tank. if this works, you can carefully drip juice into the carto. just dont get any in the ctr. hole. oh!! give me your phone# on p.m. i can call.

talked on phone-its all good.

Hey Steve, I use an ego twist and 100% VG wherever I can because of PG sensitivity issues. Dump the cartos and buy a few Kanger T2 clearomizers. 2.2 - 2.4 ohms. Give those a try. Personally I find cartos too fiddly. All I want to do is "fill 'n go" - but each to their own of course.

Just using an ego twist and vg juice. They just have replacement cartomizers in store but don't know the brand.

Have you tried to take periodic dry hits(drawing in without firing). That can help moisten the wick more and make your vape consistant.

Just FYI; these are called 'primer puffs'. Dry hits are the truly disgusting, burning, choking puffs you get when there is no juice on the coil.

Just sayin...
