Hi everyone my wife and I just started vaping as a replacement to cigarettes 10 days ago. We both went with the njoy Npro. However after reading so many posts on here I wonder if we made the right choice in brand. Needless to say we went with a brand we could immediately pick up at a brick and mortar store. Already I'm considering going with another brand, but there are so many out there I just can't decide. I like the automatic battery idea, so no matter what that has to be a part of what I decide on. At this stage I have no problem ordering what is needed online, but to get started we had to physically pick them up or we never would of quit cigarettes. My wife was a devoted Newport smoker so the quest is on going for a flavor like those for her. Me on the other hand I like the idea of different flavors and presently I'm using a cola flavor. Any thoughts and opinions are very welcomed. I thought I had everything all figured out until I found this site and now I am simply overwhelmed by all of the information.

Darksithlord, first of all congratulations to you and your wife and welcome to the ECF. I don't think you made a bad choice with the Njoy Npro. If it works for you, then it's a good choice. Later on you may decide to try something else, maybe get some e-juice and fill your own cartridges. You will find good information here.

I use a KR808D-1 and a Joye 510.

I think almost everyone wants as close to a cig experience when they start. The Kr808 is very popular as is the 510. You really can't go too far wrong with either of these kits.

go with Cignot for the 510 or Vaper 4 life for the Kr808. Again you can't go far wrong with either of these. They both have amazing service and a great product.

To be 100% honest, I would buy the eGo from cignot

Joye Platinum eGo

This will set you miles ahead of the game. Trust me this is the deal. It's probably not even close to what you are looking for right now. But it will be what you are looking for 60 days from now if you are still vaping.

Good luck and welcome aboard. If you have any questions this is the place to be.

Welcome to the nuthouse :D
I always say that and I don't know why.

Congrats on switching to vaping, it is a wise life style choice yet at the beginning a somewhat frustrating one as it can be so involved. As you have discovered.

To get the full benefit from vaping you will suffer from bad buying decisions; whether it be hardware or juice. Happens to ALL of us and I'm still a noobie with more wrong choices ahead of me!!

Firstly, let me get this off my chest as it's bugging me.
Forget the automatic and go manual, or at least try manual batteries.
Automatics can go off by a passing wind gust, sitting in a bar with a loud voice sitting next to you and so on.

I feel better now.

OK, as stated the 510 is a standard go to first PV.
And for good reason. It works great, it's affordable but the battery life on them sucks unless you get the long life or eGo types.

I would probably go with what Brad Smith said and get an eGo from-
https://www.cignot.com/

These ladies are among the best in the business offering amazing customer service coupled with terrific prices. They also sell good liquids so do yourself a flavor (haha) and check them out.

The eGo is essentially a 510 on steroids as one reviewer said.
Battery life of around 7 hours and produces tons of vapor. Throat hit (TH) which is what many talk about is good too but generally depends on what juice you are vaping.
This device is also about the classiest looking thing out there.

There is a lot to this but many here are willing to assist.
Let us know your thoughts and other questions.
There will be many of them and someone here will have ALL the answers for ya.

Again, welcome.

Thanks for the welcomes and great insight. I have to admit that eGo looks pretty sweet. I will have to stash some cash away to get it! A good way to get that one past the wife is to point out the pink one for her, she would be a total sucker for it

I will most likely give the manuals a shot after I get more accustomed to the PV My wife on the other hand I don't want to rock the boat. It wasn't easy to get her to give up analogs (I'm learning the lingo!) and a change could set things back with her.

Now my next question, does anyone know where I can get blanks for my Npro? Like I said I like going for the array of flavors that are out there. Can I use cartridges from other companies for the time being?

i ordered blanks from anycig . com and if you want to ever sell the njoys lmk cuz thats what i started with and have now and i love it..hehe

Do all parts associated with RN4081 Super E-Cigarette work with the Njoy Npro? I just don't know what if anything that is a universal fit or what other parts work with the Njoy Npro. I see parts everywhere for the 510's, eGo and so on, but I never see anything for Njoy except on their band exclusive sites.

Alright I found out that the Njoy Npro is the same as RN4081. Man this is a great forum! Now that I know I can get parts for this from other places besides Njoy I feel much much better. I'll be making a few orders this weekend!

Hey Dark, welcome. Another Michigander! Lots of us showing up here lately :). The smoking ban must be doing SOME good huh. When I started vaping in Feb. I didn't think I wanted manual batts either but it turns out that the autos can be really squirrelly. You get used to pushing a button real quickly and they are more reliable so don't be too opposed to the idea. Buying an eGo will save allot of frustration not having to charge batteries all day.
Welcome again and maybe if some of you new Michigan members go over and join the Michigan vapers social group we can breathe a little life into that group. It's been pretty dead over there.

I also started with the Njoy. It did help we to cut down to one cigarette a day but it cost $69.00 plus I though all you could vape was prefilled carts which became very expensive.

After I found the forum I ordered a manual 510 and loved it. I vaped this for over 9 months and completely quit cigarettes.

After this I started using mods at 3.7 and 6.0 volt. This gives you more power and a better throat hit and more vapor. I still sometimes use one of my 510s.

Welcome to Vaping and the ECF!
I did not want anything to do with a manual battery either in the beginning. I had a nice vendor here a while back send me a manual pass through aka PT. Anyway I tried it thinking I hate the button but I actually grew to like it better than the automatic. I still like to use my automatic when I drive and do things that I use to do with a cig hanging from my face but the manual is great for sitting around and vaping. There is no primer puff so you get vapor faster then puff puff vape on an auto battery.

As OP's recommend the eGo is an awesome model. You could order one kit and an extra battery and atty or 2 that way you and the wife have enough batteries to share.
