Hey guys, Finally got to the point where I am ready to share information and support to others. I have gained so muych in knowledge and support just from reading here, that I must give some back. I have been reading ECF for quite some time, and have yet to find ANY site with the equivalent resources or knowledge base. I hope to become part of a contributing member.

My short story:
I am 28, I started picking up my dads smokes off the ground at the age of 13, and did so off and on for years. At 18 I started purchasing for myself, and continued this trend at 3/4 - 1 pack a day until earlier this February. I picked up a Blu starter kit, and in short time started hating it, the batteries couldn't hold up. I bounced between this and smoking for a few weeks, but was determined to quit. I then purchased a V2 kit, and shortly thereafter, started hating that, the same process repeated. Finally, I got my hands on an EgO-C Twist, loved it. The battle has been constant to find a reliable and cost effective atomizer, clearomizer, carto, or anything else. After many 100's of $s, I came to find that the ego c twist, and a mini protank worked for me.

It is funny how it has progressed over the months. After realizing that I might have spent the equivalent in money as if I had still been smoking, It dawned on me that my sense of smell, taste, lung function, and odor had gone to a place I had forgotten long ago (Health). I can no longer eat Ghost pepper hot sauce without murdering myself.

Sounds like everyone else's story lol.

Welcome to ECF, and happy vaping.

I figured this would be so!

I also have scoured this entire website on DIY NET Extraction and have come to one piece I cannot viewhttp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/liquid-extraction-tobacco/
Is this dead? private? It says that I do not have the permissions to view. I am hoping it isn't extremely helpful information, I have the equipment, finance, and skill to continue extracting from whole leaf tobaccos. I need a definitive informative collection for it haha!

edit: I have viewed the other awesome resources on how to do it, who is doing it, but there isn't much information on what blends to use, stengths, etc. I'd rather take 100% of contamination risk out of third party vendors, and leave that to myself =)

Yeah, the first 5 posts need to be in the new members forum. Makes it easier to weed out any spammers which the mods do a great job getting rid of. It doesn't take long to get posts and most of my posts have been in the new member's forum. Good luck!!

Working now. It is indeed very specific to my area, so that is great, can't wait to contribute.

I kind of went the same route as with the cig-a-likes, and was spending waaayyy too much money on e-cigs. I finally found an Ego Twist and have since moved on to better (I think) MOD's like the Smoktech SID and the Itaste MVP2. I usually have my protank on the SID and I bring a few Evod tanks to work with my MVP. Been cigarette free for about 5 months.

I'll echo the welcomes, Lowry. And has been said, seems like there are a number of folks who lurked here for a while before joining. I was one of them. I came, read and lurked before buying my first kit (which was only 7 weeks ago). Didn't think I would join, but was grateful for the information here.

Then after I bought the kit, I came back on here to learn more. And realized that the information here was provided by people, folks who seemed passionate about vaping. Provided by people who were willing to share their experience. And many were so darned friendly and helpful to one another. No flame wars, just community. The folks here made this forum so attractive that I joined. Being a noobie, I have little to share, but still try to participate every day or two.

Glad we each found ECF and glad many lurkers (like me) have decided to join and participate. Namaste !

I think it's safe to say that 90% of us have had to drop 100's on the field testing before we found what works for us. I'm grateful for the cheap but high class Ego twist, the one good purchase that kept me from falling backwards permanently. I've got my eyes set on an Innokin SVD via FT, but am going to attempt wait until January to see if anything else will reveal itself. The SVD just looks so ridiculously like a lightsaber, and also looking at 9 inches of ... in your hands haha

That's what it is all about, being passionate about helping each-other, you act as if you have nothing to offer, BUT if you've come here to welcome me, and take the time to respond to something you could have easily moved on to from, then you are wrong =). PLUS, if you've ever bought a device, saw what you didn't like in it, you are 100% on authority to inform others!
