Without really trying I've managed to convert a few of my friends to ecigs. And the joys ego in particular. I asked in a different thread if there was any sort of list of physical retailers for these products. I see green cig (and other similar ones) at tobacco shops quite often, but seldom any of the other lines.

Got me to thinking, maybe there is a business opportunity here. Is there any info on the site or does anyone have any insight into starting a retail operation? For the legal minded types I'm in Pennsylvania.

Many mall's are starting to open kiosks. Some of these kiosk's are actually offering some rather decent, and popular models. However, I have yet to see one that wasn't over priced. Well, to clarify, i have yet to even hear of one that wasnt over priced. Its hard to compete with the internet on cost sometimes.

I have actually seen one retailer at the Big E, two years running... but sadly it was the same deal. They were selling very expencive stuff... that and once the guy saw i had an eGo... he couldnt wait to get rid of me fast enough! He was so rude...

I think a lot of people aren't opening an actual retail shop for e-cigs because of the unknowns of what the FDA has planned for e-cigs. I don't think people want to open a retail business based solely on e-cigs with the possibilities of the FDA shutting them down shortly after opening up their shop. There's a big potential to lose everything you have if the FDA gets their way and bans e-cigs. That's probably one of the reasons people sell them mostly online and a few have kiosks they sell from. It's much cheaper to lose an online business or kiosk business than to lose an entire store.
